Is there a way to subscribe to a t hread without getting emails? The old site allowed you to choose which ones gave you email alerts.

Yep, click on User Control Panel>Board Preferences tab>Edit posting defaults button>
Then "Notify me upon replies by default:" turn to off.

I think that is the one. You may have to look around in there. Its someplace.
