Bilbo sat alone in his parlor puffing away on his pipe absent minded. A part of him wished he wasn't having visitors today, but he was looking forward to seeing an old friend of his. "Adventure this, Adventure that." Bilbo shook his head on the thought and then put down his book to gaze out the window.

Aragorn dismounted his horse and looked over as he noticed the Hobbit hole. "Do hurry Legolas, we've finally arrived." he called back to his white haired wonder who was a little behind. "Do you require help dismounting?" he asked jokingly.

Gandalf smiled at the two as they arrived He'd only just arrived himself.
"Hello, friends," he said, smiling at them in greeting.

Legolas shot Aragorn a careful look, though a smile played on his lips.
"I do beleive I can manage," he said, dismounting from his horse.

Bilbo sighed a little when he noticed the new comers and shook his head,
"Well that means goodbye to peace and quiet then."

Aragorn smirked and then looked over as Gandalf called.
"Well if it isn't Gandalf the grey!" he smiled, "How have you kept?"

"I have kept well, my friends. And you, Dear Aragorn?" Gandalf called, knocking on the round door.

Legolas heard the musings of the hobbit inside, and smiled a little. He didn't answer the tall wizard, as he waited.

Aragorn gave a curt nod in reply and then waited beside his partner for the door to be opened.
"How can one not be prepared when knowing forth with that guests will be happening upon them?" he muttered.

Bilbo sighed, taking a long drag of his pipe before opening the door and looking up at them all. It was rather frustrating being the shortest one there.
"Well, do come in." he said and then smiled seeing Gandalf, "Well it's certainly been a while."

Legolas shrugged. He'd never met Bilbo, and wasn't sure he would be so unlike a dwarf.

Gandalf smiled warmly, reaching out to shake Bilbo's hand.
"My dear Bilbo," he said.
"It is good to see you again, after all these years."

Aragorn looked to Legolas and shook his head.
"Well then, I for one am opposed to loitering on one's doorstep." he said, walking into the small home.

"Just make sure to wipe your feet!"
Bilbo yelled and then shook Gandalf's hand softly.
"You look well Gandalf."

Legolas frowned a little, his temper going up a tad. He pointedly didn't wipe his feet, though he knew he hadn't been walking in mud.
"I am Legolas," he said, introducing himself to Bilbo with a slight bow.
"Yes, this is Legolas of Mirkwood," Gandalf said, entering the Hole, careful to mind his head.

"You look quite well, Bilbo," he said, smiling.

"I said wipe your feet you insolent ruffian!" Bilbo snarled at Legolas.
He then looked to Gandalf as he entered and shut the door.
"Can we please make haste with this?" he asked annoyed and impatient.

Aragorn looked to Legolas and lightly tapped his bottom in a warning,
"You were meant to wipe your feet." he said into his ear.

Gandalf was quite surprised by gentle Bilbo being so aggressive.
"Mister Bilbo, are you quite alright?" he asked.

Legolas shot Aragorn an irritated look. Not many people knew about the discipline Legolas took from Aragorn, and he didn't want these two to know.
"I do apologize," he said, softly, though he certainly didn't mean it. Bilbo had been nothing but rude, and the hot-tempered Elf was inclined to reciprocate.
