New Beginings (Jade/ NP)
 

Legolas glanced over at Aragorn as he pushed the door open to the manor house he's secured in Mirkwood. After the destruction of the Ring, the two had decided to keep the little hobbits with them. Thranduil, Legolas's father, had offered them a quiet life in his realm, unless Legolas's skills as an archer were needed.

He smiled and pulled his lover into the little foyer. His ada had furnished the home, and it was tasteful, and lovely.

Frodo entered the house behind them. He glanced around, and smiled.
"Do we get our own rooms?" he asked.

Aragorn returned the smile and nodded his head in satisfaction, glancing around the house. It really was a beautiful little place. "I am so happy with this settlement." he told his lover, kissing Legolas' lips before chuckling and reaching down to pick up little Frodo. "Soon little one, however I believe it is time for luncheon."

"Yay Lunch!" Pippin said enthusiastically, bounding into the room.

Merry looked around, frowning a bit. "Do we all get a room each?"

"We shall see, little one," Legolas told Merry lifting Pippin into his arms.
"But your ada is correct. It is time for you to eat."

Same noddd, content with that.
Frodo frowned a bit.
"I would like my own room. I had one at Uncle Bilbo's house."

Pippin smiled happily and snuggled against Legolas. "May I have cheese, Papa?" he asked, touching his Papa's pretty face with his tiny hands.

Aragorn chuckled, scooping Merry, Frodo and Same all together in his arms. "Ada and Papa love you all so much. And we shall see Frodo, calm yourself little one." he said softly, sitting them all down at the table.

Legolas smiled at the name. He found hit entertaining that the little ones addressed him in a Common Tongue name, while they addressed his human lover in an Elvish name.

He sat Pippin down, and kissed his curls.
"Yes, little one, there is cheese," he said, moving to set the table. He didn't mind cooking, he just didn't like to clean the dishes.

Pippin giggled happily as he was set down, bouncing on his seat as he waited for the food.

Aragorn smiled at all their new children and he kissed each of them on the head before sitting down. "I shall wash the dishes beloved." he informed his love, thinking that was only fair. He then looked to their little one's. "So, what's your view on the house, boys?"

"I shall like it better if I have my own room," Frodo teased. Sam gave him a reproachful look.
"Mr. Frodo, you should be happy to have a room at all."

Legolas smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Thank you, my love," he said, setting the food on the table.

Aragorn chuckled, reaching out to ruffle Sam's hair gently. "Thank you little one, but you needn't call your brother so formally." he said, then lightly bopping Frodo's nose. "So cheeky, perhaps you would like to switch positions, over Ada's knee instead?" he also teased, kissing Frodo's head gently. He then smiled at his lover and nodded, "You are welcome beloved."

Pippin's eyes lit up. "Food!" he said excitedly before digging in, forgetting his manners.

Legolas stilled Pippin's hands, gently.
"Peace, little one. Eat slowly, and mind your manners," he said.

Frodo frowned and pushed hand.
"Please don't do that," he said.

Pippin blushed bashfully and nodded, "Sorry papa." he answered, smiling and then eating as he was told to. "Can I stay awake past curfew, Papa. Just for tonight?"

Aragorn frowned, "My dear Frodo, what is wrong?" he asked, picking up Sam and sitting him on his lap, it was hard to give attention to all the boys but he tried his best. He noticed Merry looking quite alone in the corner while he ate.
