A Man and his mouse (for Jjh2)
 

Early one evening, Jake Summers sat in his kitchen, drinking a cup of coffee as he listened to the evenings radio broadcast. The young man had recently moved to small English village to get away from all the noise of the city, and he had found the transition quite successful. However, just then he heard a knock at the door, causing him to put down the book and go find out what it was. But when he opened the door, he couldn't see anyone standing there, causing him to look round to see what it might have been.

Curled up sleeping in a wooden basket was a small furry bundle.

Intrigued, Jake reached down, and lifted the small bundle into his arms. After taking a closer look, he discovered that it was a baby mouse girl, peacefully sleeping in his arms. "Well now" he said to himself, smiling down at her and gently stroking her head, "where did you come from?".

The little girl snuggled into the new source of warmth with a smile.

Jake was still a little surprised that he had found the infant on his doorstep in the first place, yet he knew what he had to do. He had never looked after a child before, but he knew it was now his responsibility to care for the child, and to ensure that he gave her as happy life as he could, as her new Daddy.

5 YEARS LATER.

Outside, a little mouse girl sat under the shade of a large tree, smiling as she watched the sky.

Jake meanwhile, was walking through the forest, looking for his little mouse daughter. "Tilly" he called out, "where are you?".

The little girls ears moved up after hearing him. Giggling, she scurried up the tree.

Jake stopped directly beneath the tree that the little mouse was up, looking around to see if he could find her.

Smiling, she dropped her knickers and let them fall.
