Conventions
 

Just wondering if anyone felt like announcing any convention attendance plans, put faces with nicknames and all that. I will be attending Sakuracon April 6-8 in Seattle, WA, if anyone wants to link up.

actually i'm planning on going to Sakuracon, it will be my first con of any kind

wish they had anime conventions in the UK.. l feel like stareing at the cosplay chicks :D that and well l love anime lol

i'm going to anime expo in long beach california.... i even might cosplay as TJ kiba >_>;; maybe i'm not sure i know for sure i'm cosplaying as Mugen and a theif from final fantasy...

I'm going to Anime Expo and maybe to Fanime. I'm gonna make up the character that I'm cosplaying, but it will probably be something that looks like a final fantasy character.

Well Cypher, if you want to look me up during the con, I will probably be taking regular breaks to smoke my pipe. Just look for the balding pipe smoker in his twenties, probably in a black kimono and hakuma, eh :).

Also, your avatar reminds me of the cutest thing I saw at last year's con. A marionette of Shippo that this woman was just walking about the con with, making it wave and suchlike. The best part was that it was perfectly to scale from the anime, that is to saw it stood a little higher than my knee and was very detailed.

I'll be at ComicCon Int'l in July. Next week we're having "Anizona" so if anyone is in Arizona, come on by.

For those at Sakuracon, additional tips for spotting me if you wanna meet IRL. I will be either an out of work Samurai extra, or Vodka from Detective Conan. The constant will be the breaks to smoke my pipe. Will likely be in the company of either Axel from KH2/KH:CoM or the Kaito Kid. (both played by my girlfriend). seek me out if you wish :)

SakuraCon was SOOO much fun! i spent way too much money of course, on posters and figurines and a cute little goomba plushy that makes squished noises when bonked on the head. it was a great intro to the world of geek conventions, and i look forward to many more.

XD I'm going to Fanime next month. I'll either be running around as Axel or Sai'X most of the time. Aren't cons the greatest? I would so buy a Yaoi paddle if I thought I could get it home without my mother having a heart attack at the sight of it. Love her too much to do that to her though.
