Shiro walked into his daughters room, Rumi's to be exact and shook her lightly by the shoulder a small but fond smile on lips,

"Awaken Rumi, time to rise."

Rumi sat up and rubbed her eyes, yawning. The sky-blue-skinned girl shook her head some as she looked up at her Dad. "Hi.." She said groggily as she got out of bed.

Shiro did not even bat an eyebrow at the sky skinned girl, he knew of this when he adopted them and accepted it by now and loved both Rumi and her sister never the less.

"Good morning, Rumi, ready for a bright day worth a spoonful of knowledge and a fist full of fun?"

Rumi blinked. "Yeah." She said softly. She was wearing shorts and a tank-top, since she always had to stay cool. Room temperature was hot for her and chilly for her sister, but they adapted somewhat and weren't too uncomfortable.

Shiro gave a smile to the answer before reaching under Rumi and picking her up and slinging her lightly to sit on his shoulder, “Alright then, let’s to wake Kaede,” He walked into the other room (or do they share?) chucking at this daughters reactions to his morning play with them.

(separate rooms)

Rumi squeaked as she was placed on his shoulder, holding close as they entered Kaede's room.

Kaede was still asleep, bundled up in her bed to keep warm.

Shiro chuckled as Rumi held close as they entered his other adopted daughters room. Seeing the bundled form, the man leaned over and poked at it with quick but light jabs searching for a ticklish spot, "Kaede, come, come, greet the day." He hummed out still holding Rumi securely on his shoulder.

Kaede's body got warmer with each poke; she hated being poked or tickled. She sat up with a yawn, her skin human colored. She never liked having her skin the normal pink color, so she almost never had it pink unless she was in private.

Shiro knew the little girl did not like it but it got her up fast enough. Smiling he rubbed her head gently before slipping his arm under her arms and swinging her up onto his other shoulder, His lean but muscle arms allow him to do that with a good amount of ease an a soft grunt,

"To nourishment!" He announced heading for the kitchen.

"Having fun?" Kaede asked with a sigh, resisting the urge to heat herself up while on his shoulder.
