Struggle of powers and kids
 

Daniel was a young boy at the age of 9. He had red hair and blue eyes. He had been a orphan for a couple years. He had lost his parents when some thieves came to his village. He had barley survived that. The only reason he survived was because he had a unique power of the wind that saved him. This power allowed him to survive and cause trouble. He was sitting in town when a thief came up to grab him. That was when he used his wind and hit him against a wall causing the guy to bleed.

Mark was a middle age man who was a noble. He was blond with blue eyes. He was a strong broad man. He knew how to fight and was pretty strong. He did not like mean people and could be mean. He was a rather kind man. He really didn't like violence. He was sitting in a local tavern just having a sip of beer at the moment.

Isabelle was an older noblewoman who was known to be a bit snobbish. However, the people who really got to know her saw her compassion for others. Although she looked delicate, she knew techniques to defend herself against those who desired to hurt her and her loved ones. She was currently strolling through the market in her village, looking for different wares and occasionally talking with shop owners she had come to know.

Abby was an 8 year old alone in the world. She was abandoned at a young age and had to learn how to take care of herself by stealing. Although it wasn't ideal, it was a way to survive. She used her special power, the ability to control flames at will, to her advantage and set a small fire to distract a shop owner before sneaking an apple.

Daniel had caused the man to bleed some. It was minor though. He had only done it out of protection and wasn't completely on purpose. He could not control.the wind as well. He was angry though. "Don't mess with me you old fuck." He said using the wind to knock.him again. He was angry at the guy. Normally he was a young kind boy.

Mark had been sitting there when be saw the girl run by with a Apple. He was a pretty nice man, but did not like stealing. He saw the girl and went to her cornering her. "Why did you steal.that Apple young lady?"

Isabelle heard some commotion nearby and almost immediately responded. She quickly looked and saw a young boy fighting with a thief. Somehow, the boy had caused the thief to bleed. Isabelle was curious as to how it had happened, but her question was soon answered when the boy managed to move the wind and hurt the thief. She took the opportunity to quickly draw a dagger from her handbag and knock the handle to the thief's head before he could move toward the boy again. She turned to the boy and bluntly stated "How did you do that?"

Abby got nervous when the strange man approach her. She was unsure of what to do. Nobody usually paid her much attention when she stole. "I was hungry." she said before looking down at the apple and back to the man. "If I didn't take it, how else would I get it?"

Daniel was about to go further with the thief when a woman appeared. She seemed to be rather serious about the whole thing. The women took the thief out quickly. He was surprised by her quick ability of taking him out. Then she asked a question that meant she saw him do his wind thing. He always hid the power because a lot of people would do things to him if they found out about the power he had. His power was rare and not normal. He decided to deny it. "I have no idea what you mean."

The man got annoyed with the girl. She was acting like a cheeky brat and it annoyed him. He could get annoyed easily. He stayed calm though. "It does not matter. You do not steal. You pay with it with money or your parents get it for you." He said not knowing the girl was a orphan and had to steal to eat.

"Don't lie boy." Isabelle said. "I saw the you. You used the wind to defend yourself." She narrowed her brown eyes and folded her arms in front of her chest. "Be honest with me. After I saw that and chose to defend you, why would I try to kill you now?"

Abby sadly looked down. "I don't have parents...so I don't have money."

The boy looked at the women not trusting her. He trusted almost no one after everything that happened. Every one in this world was out to hurt others. "Yeah. I have a power. It didn't really concern you though." He says rudely starting to walk away

Mark looked at the girl and realized she was a orphan and her only way to survive was to steal. It still wasn't right though."Do you not have anyone to go to?" He asked not wanting to leave a young girl on the street.

Isabelle raised an eyebrow at the boys words, but cut him off as he tried to leave. "It may not, but that doesn't mean that it isn't interesting to me. How does it work?" She eyed the boy, looking for any charms or any sort of magical artifact but saw none.

"No sir." She said as her stomach growled loudly. She raised the apple to her mouth and was about to take a bite.

Daniel got annoyed with how nosy the women was being. He just wanted to be left alone. It didn't concern her how it worked, but could tell she wasn't going to go away easily so gave a awnser that hopefully satisfied. "It was something I was born with. I do it naturally. I do it mainly when I'm in danger."

Mark looked at the girl. "How bout you stay with me for now. I'll get you some real food." He didn't want leave th girl alone. He didn't really care about the Apple. It was just a Apple.

Isabelle processed the boys words and slightly frowned. "And are you in danger often?" She was genuinely worried for the boy. No child should have to fight off danger constantly.

Abby warily looked at the man. The idea of food sounded good, but she didn't really know him all that well. She took a bite and pondered his question before answering. "Alright." She held out her hand for the man. "My name's Abbey."
