Mina's Forest RPG Maker Games....
 

Does anybody here still have the old games Mina made in RPG Maker? There were 2 I think. I have the first one, but not the second. The links in the original threads about them are all dead and I can't find them anymore.

I have both. I can upload them to my Mediafire account, and give people the links if Mina doesn't mind.

That would be great.
Is there any reason why they can't be downloaded right from this site?
I mean, you have stories and media clips and all that, why not games? Too big?

There were plans for a sort of a games section with spanking game downloads but nothing came of it.

Thats a real pity....

The tickling community has TONS of tickling related games. Especially RPG Maker based ones. Place called Tickletheater has a full section, multiple pages of em. This community should have more obsessive game makers.

Anyway, I think the primary problem is that there just isn't a spanking game sub-culture (yet). A central repository of games isn't all that useful when you only have half a dozen games, and almost all of them are either small proofs-of-concept or abandoned.

I know that transformation is similar to tickling, with pages and pages of games. I had assumed that transformation games were so popular, because you can't have interactive transformations in real life, whereas you can have interactive spankings. So, you know transformation fetishists are more desperate for interactive erotica than spankos. Your comment about tickling falsifies that hypothesis however.

Are the tickling games pure tickling, or is there other erotic content? While tickling does nothing for me, I don't have a problem with it either so if there's other content, I might check them out.

Depends.
Most of the tickling games have erotic content, but not all. And by erotic, I mean obviously sexualized tickling of the nether regions and such. Most all of the games follow the same basic setup, basically, you're some adventurer, and theres a whole underwold of hot monster women who love to tickle people silly standing between you and the goal. Normally its a female adventurer, because of course. The tickling community seems to have the same number of people allergic to */M related content as the spanking community, unfortunatly. However, one of the best games, The Cackling Cave, has a robed character that can be whatever gender you want, and a couple other ones allow you to choose genders. Insane amounts of detail and effort, working that out.
Pity, one of the best examples there is of that, is unfinished and unreleased...

Are you at all familier with an artist named Kenkou Cross? Basically, he has made, and I think is still making, loads and loads of really sexualized female monsters, based on every creature and animal from real life and mythology you can imagine. Here's a good example of his work:

Almost every one of the games utilizes his chars as the baddies. And its the same setup, you fight them, you win or lose. Either because its not feasible or because the games are mostly "ticklee" fantasies, theres not always a scene when you win... but theres sure as heck one when you lose. The one I have has about 50 or so different monster women, all with really nicely written punishment scenes for when they beat you, sometimes varied by gender. Some sexual, some not. As always, it varies. Mostly, you're dragged off, restrained, and implied to be tickled to death/forever/whatever you want to assume happens....
So I like them. Im a submissive and thats what I enjoy in most instances.

I'm playing as a male char in your game, and have just started, I'm liking it so far, though I'm not very far in so I don't know what a valid critique would be yet....
That said, any of my critiques for your game would probably center around "more scenes where you the player are spanked severely" and "more */M stuff"
I know I'm a minority on the */M stuff wherever I go, but I might as well mention it! And count my blessings I get to choose gender! Appreciate that big time.

I'd also be interested in the two games Mina crafted, provided its alright with her.

I personally enjoyed what i played of potion wars, the only thing i could think of off-hand* in terms of feedback is perhaps having NPC's comment (Or spank, if appropriate.) on the player's choice of attire. It feels a little unnatural to have everyone just accept that your walking around in little to no clothes without some comment from the occasional NPC.

(Unless, of course such behavior is normal in your world - i'll admit its entirely possible i missed a piece of lore or a post explaining that, and i do apologize if this has been pointed out before or is irrelevant.)

Have you tried visiting the guild kitchen for the first time in nothing but a thong?

As for why there aren't more such scenes, that has more to do with two things:

1. Laziness. Every reaction/comment/spanking I have to write and writing takes time and energy.

2. Story flow. It'd be rather jarring to be in the middle of a scene, and then have a character stop and spank you for wearing inappropriate clothing. Granted, it could totally be a thing in a more light-hearted scene, or as a bit of light comic relief during a more dramatic sequence.

3. While right now it doesn't matter, once the player starts getting enchanted clothing, they'll be torn between finding spanking scenes for inappropriate attire, and gameplay bonuses. I really really want to keep the gameplay and spanking scenes as disjoint as possible. A player should never have to say "I really really want to act like X, because I love that scenario and I think it'll lead to an awesome spanking, but I can't because I also want to win." Granted, this last one will be mitigated somewhat by the enchantment transfer mechanic that I'll be implementing, but only until your underwear has full enchantment.

That being said, I do have a few ideas for inappropriate-attire-inspired-scenes for the second episode, and will be trying to incorporate them. In particular, I've implemented a new hidden feature that measures how risque your character's outfit is. If you're too risque some characters may comment.

Thank you! Also, what are your criticisms about combat? I'm going to be overhauling combat as a part of episode 3 (it'll still be the same basic turn-based combat, but hopefully much more tightly integrated, fast-paced and streamlined). The more criticisms I have of the current combat system, the better the chances that I can create a good combat system on my second try.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "severe?" Everyone has different definitions of severe. For example, there were places in the first episode where I was concerned because the spanking felt a littlesevere to me. Clearly, however you prefer harsher stuff than I do. I will be introducing characters of a more villainous persuasion in the next few episodes, so hopefully they'll satisfy your desire for severe spankings, but I don't want things to go so overboard that they turn people off. Having a handle on the upper limit of my players will help me with that. As for */M, you'll be happy to know that Emily has agreed to not only edit future episodes, but also write some scenes for me. She's a fan of F/M (though not M/M) so you'll start seeing some F/M scenes in future episodes.

Finally, if anyone has anything more to say about Potion Wars, if you could post in the thread dedicated to Potion Wars, I'd be grateful. I don't want to hijack this thread anymore than I already have.

Sounds good. I don't mind a lack of M/M, really. F/M is my favorite though, so Ill look forward to that. And the "player gets spanked" sections are great so far. After this message, Ill be sure to post comments in the right thread. I don't mind you hijacking this thread at all, in fact Im quite glad you did. I came looking for those Mina games thinking they were the only spanking games there were, and now Ive found your game. So I highly appreciate that. Do post again when/if you upload the Mina games though? I still really want that 2nd one.
