An honourable family - Mjolner
 

Mulan had found the last three months to be tough, she missed her two sons more than anything in the world. After all, they were both so young. But finally she and Shang were heading back to their Village and to the Fa household where their children were being watched by their Grandparents.

"I can't wait to see them, do you think they will have behaved, Shang?" Mulan asked with a small smirk. She knew her boys could be naughty.


Li Shang Shen (Shen) was watching from the window, knowing his parents would be returning soon and he was so excited. He bounced on his heels a bit and looked to his brother, "Can you see Mama or Papa yet?"

Shang chuckled at Mulans question. " Well...I really hope so, but knowing them I think they have at least pulled a prank or two. Hopefully they haven`t created too much trouble." he said as he gave the woman a small smile. " We`re almost home now he stated as he saw that their house was now visible in the distance.

" Not yet, Li." Jun Shen said as his younger brother wanted to know if he could see their mother and father. He then focused his eyesight a little as he saw two people arriving in the distance. " Oh, wait. I think I see them. Yes, it`s them. They`re finally coming home, brother!" he exclaimed in happiness to Li.

(( lol in China the names are backwards, so Li Shang Shen, is Shen Shang Li, with Li being the surname of the family ^^ My boy's name is Shen his middle name is Shang and surname is Li. ^^ ))

Mulan nodded her head and chuckled a little bit, "Sounds like Shen and Jun." she answered fondly, she just hoped they hadn't been too much trouble for her Mama and Papa. She smiled brightly when Shang said they were almost home, the woman nodding her head and she kicked her Horse into a canter, eager to get back and see her two babies.

Shen looked at his brother Jun and nodded his head, "I miss Mama and Papa..." he pouted but then got all excited again when his brother announced he could see them, "They're home!" he beamed and rushed out with his brother, "Mama, Papa!"

Mulan jumped down from her Horse and picked up Shen and Jun into her arms, hugging them close, "I missed you both so much." she declared emotionally.

( Ups. My bad. Sorry about that XD.)

" Hi, you two." Shang said softly as he gently ruffled each boys hair while also joining in on the emotional embrace. " How have you been doing? Have you behaved nicely while we were gone?" he asked the two little boys.

Jun paled a little at Shangs question for him and his brother. " Uh...yes, we have. Right, Shen?" he said to his younger brother as he gave him a look the was supposed to signal to the other boy that he should go along with Juns hasty little lie and not tell the truth on how they had really behaved.

Shen beamed up at his Father and Mother, nuzzling against both Shang and Mulan happily because he'd missed them so. However at his Father's question, he looked worriedly to his brother and then tried to look innocent. "Yes....we...we have behaved very well." he answered.

Mulan rose a brow and gave both her boys a stern look, "Well those answers didn't sound convincing." she answered and then looked up when Zhu and his Wife Li came over, "Mama, Papa." Mulan smiled and hugged them both, "Have Jun and Shen behaved?"

The two exchanged looks and Li sighed, "The boys have been actually very naughty in your absence." she answered. "Lying, cheating at games, being disrespectful..." she sighed.

Zhu nodded, "Indeed they have."

" Is that so?" Shang said as his previous happy and warm expression now changed into a stern one as he looked at his two sons. " We told you both to behave, didn`t we? Yet you didn`t do it. I`m dissapointed in you two." he said sternly and sighed. " I`m afraid that this can`t go unpunished." he stated as he looked over at his wife in order to sort of confirm what would happen to Jun and Shen for their actions.

" W-we did behave. They aren`t telling the truth..." Jun said when his mother and father learned how they really had behaved during their absence. He gave a nervous look to Shen as their parents suddently got stern with them. " Oh no...this isn`t looking good, little brother..." he whispered.

Mulan was both saddened and shocked to hear that, she knew her sons were naughty at times, but this was just beyond appropriate. She placed her hands on her slender hips and looked at Jun especially. In their household, Mulan would punish and usually spend time with young Jun, and Shang would usually do the same with young Shen. "Your Father's right, this can't go unpunished, and you both will be spanked for dishonouring your Grandparents." she scolded.

Shen whimpered some, he hated being in trouble, and he didn't like his Papa and Mama being stern. He looked down at his feet sadly and wiped his eyes as they began to fill with tears. "P-Papa...w-we're sorry..." he pleaded.

" You will be more sorry after we`ve discussed this properly, young man." Shang said in a stern tone of voice as he took hold of his sons arm and lead him into their house. Once they were inside the living room he sat down on a chair and pulled the young boy over his lap. " Now, then...why are you being spanked, son?" he asked Shen as he landed a slap to the right side of the boys backside.

" Please don`t do it, Mama. We`re so sorry. We won`t misbehave ever again. I promise...just don`t punish me..." Jun begged as he looked up at his mother with a pleading look on his face. " Grandmother and grandfather are exaggerating, Mama..." he said softly as he looked down on his shoes and pouted.

Shen whimpered as he was taken by the arm, "B-But Papa..." he pleaded as he was lead into their living room, he hadn't wanted his parent's homecoming to be like this, he had wanted it to be loving and special. Soon he was over his Father's knee, and he kicked and squirmed. "Papa..." he pleaded, "OW! B-Because I dishonoured our Grandparents..."

Mulan's heart went out to both her children and she pulled young Jun into her arms, "Calm." she told him firmly. "You need to be punished for what you did wrong, and you know that." she told him and carried him inside their house and to Jun's room.

" That`s right, Shen. I`m disappointed in you. You and Jun promised me and your mother that you would behave while we were gone, but you didn`t. You also lied to us when you did that." Shang said and sighed as he landed four swats to the boys sit spots.

" Y-yes, Mama..." Jun said softly as he knew that he couldn`t escape the punishment that was waiting for him when Mulan lead him to his room. The young boy shuffled nervously on his feet as he couldn`t bare to meet his mothers eyes since he felt ashamed of his past actions.
