The sun crept up lazily, cutting warm light through the shades and landing on the mess of blankets on the mattress. Whatever was wrapped up in them stirred only slightly, but otherwise ignored the arrival of day until the door was kicked in loudly and a rather exasperated young man stomped into the room and started to tug at them.

"Hey, you lazy girl!" He huffed. "You won't even have time for a quick breakfast before school at this rate and I still have to drive to work!"

(Oh well then. Hi xD )

A groan cane from a young girl, as she sat up, but then layed back down. "...five more minutes....." She said putting a pillow over her head.

The young man's eyebrow twitched in irritation before he raised his hand and smacked it down roughly around where he wagered her bottom would be.

"No, you're already running late!" He huffed. "And while you could care less about being late for school, I CAN'T be late for work!"

He pulled the blankets again and spilled her out onto the floor.

The girl screeched. "What the hell!!" She stood up and began to pick and outfit out from a large pile spread out on the floor. "Fine!!!" She picked up a brush and ran it through her messed up hair that sticked out everywhere.

"Be quick about it, you're stuck with some toast you can eat on the drive over." The young man snapped before he left the room so she could get dressed. "And pick some clean clothes!"

His voice was muffled, but no less annoying through the closed door.

She ignored him as she took off her noght clothes and put on new ones, which were probably dorty. She could never tell the difference. She steeped out of her room and stuffed her binders in to her school and slung it over her shoulder. "Ready"

When she got downstairs, she saw him already waiting at the door with his keys in hand- impatiently tapping his foot and looking sour, as usual. He may have been family, but that only seemed to make his treatment of her even more irritating.

She walked over to him. "Why are you always so pissy? Like, damn." She said pulling out her phone.

"Hey, language!" He warned. "And I don't like worrying about being fired because you decide to be up all night playing video games instead of doing your homework."

He opened the door to let her out and then unlocked the car. They got in and he started to roll them out of the drive way.

"And I don't want to go to a teacher conference every other week, anymore." He sighed. "I have a life too and I like to have free time when I can."

"Well homework is shit. It doesnt even make any sense, the stupid crap we learn in math and science." She mumbled. "And video games are better than it." She groaned. "How else do you expect me get any entertainment in that hell!!!? Getting in trouble is hilarious to my friends and makes everyone laugh. Duh." She said and played a game on her phone.
