Trapped in the Game! (for Sardonyx )
 

In suburban anthro city, a popular gaming console was sweeping the nations. Waiting in line in front of a game store was Nero Ritsuko, tapping his foot. Nero was a brown wolf, with dark brown fur and piercing blue eyes. "Wish this line will hurry up!" He said as the line started to move. People were being giving virtual reality Helmets called VG Onyx. This allows people to go inside their favorite videogames. But in this case, it was for the world's most popular game "Dark Tower"

Nero went up on the line. "Finally!!" He said as he was next, his sister Lani behind him. Lani was a white furred cat girl with piercing purple eyes and a long blond hair she kept in a pony tail. "Relax Nero. We're next!"

"About time! We've been waiting for hours!!" cried a young gray furred raccoon girl happily, her cheer caused her black hair to shoot up and back behind her. Her brown eyes also widened from the excitement. Her name being Haya. "My feet were getting tired from standing all this time!"

Their last sibling was missing though, even for this special event. The last Ritsuko sibling was still at home, playing video games, after having set up a station at home for their siblings to play "Dark Tower" and work together in the best manner possible. But right now, the dingo pup had his eyes glued to the monitor. His name was Tai, and why as at he at home...well...he managed to convince his siblings to get a helmet for him!

How...well, he did say that he had to do something important...and playing was important, at least to him!

Nero sighed and stepped up in front of the man. "Four please!" He said to him.

The clerk, a gator man nodded as he handed him four helmets. Nero passed one behind Lani and another for Haya. "Hope this thing is worth the wait!"

Lani nodded. "Yeah. Let's hurry home and try this on Dark Tower!"

"This is gonna be so cool...!! Well, hopefully it wasn't hyped for no reason!" Haya grinned as she gripped her helmet tightly and rushed out of the store towards home ahead of her siblings.

Nero ran on all fours back home.

Lani blinked. "Bro wait!"

"Yeah! Wait for us!" Haya exclaimed, going on all fours herself as she chased after brother ecstatically.

Lani chuckled and carried the boxes and walked home. "Why oh why does it feel like I'm the only mature one sometimes? )"

Both Haya and Nero were way ahead of Lani at this point. Soon the raccoon girl burst open the door to their home. "Tai! You back yet?! We got the stuff!" She called. She assumed that her brother had been out running important errands as he said before.

But no, the pup was still sitting in front of his computer with his headset on, playing games as he had been doing for the past couple of hours.

Nero groaned and barked. "Hey! You never left!" He said as he turned the game off on Tai. Something low for any compulsive gamer.

Tai's eyes bugged out of his head as he whined. "What the heck?! You know what happens when you disconnect suddenly!"

Haya crossed her arms. "Tai! You said you were gonna run super important errands!"

"Well I was doing something important...!" the pup said with a huff as he turned around in his chair with a pout. "I was trying to level up ahead so I'll be more equipped for the VR!"

"So you leveled ahead of us?! That's not fair!" Haya whined.
