On Loving Pokebabies
 

Sarai was a girl of fifteen, who had been a trainer mostly of fighting Pokemon for years. She did, however, own a Lapras, and she had just hopped off of its back and onto the shore of an island in a lush, grassy, flower-rich region called Rotesara. She kissed her Lapras, Sirin, between the eyes to thank her, then headed for the cool shade of the forest, leaving Sirin to play in the water.
She was a quiet girl, of medium height, slender and willowy, but athletic of build, with shoulder length black hair and gentle eyes. The five fighting Pokemon she had captured as Pokebabies years ago had evolved now and were back at home, exploring the town and the forestlands, pursuing their dreams, even finding love. Now she hoped to find love, too - a fresh, new love of the sort that existed between trainers and their Pokebabies.
Meanwhile, a little Eevee lay at the foot of a tree. She hadn't budged from this spot for days, and she'd grown pale and weak from self neglect. Her mother and father had been buried between the roots of this very oak, and she refused to stop hoping that they'd return to life, laughing and coated with dirt, and tell her they'd only been joking.

At the same time a boy of 14 excited the forest. Steve, as his name was had just finished his first journey and left the Pokemon he had, A female Nidoran, a Charmeleon, a Totodile and a Electabuzz at home as well. He arrived at the Island with a boat he owned. Nurse Joy from the town he came from told him about this Island and even gave him some bait he could use to catch Pokemon. And now he was looking for one he would like to catch.

The little Eevee was almost too weak to move. She shifted herself only enough to stick her paw into her mouth. It was the only way she knew of to comfort herself.

"Both Sarai and Steve reached the Eevee at the same time. And Steve kneeled down. He took some of the bait and put it in reach of Eevee." Here, eat some." He said gentle. "When you feel better maybe I can catch you?"

( I know Sarai wants her but maybe it is funny if they get into a fight together before they become friends.)

(The Eevee character is supposed to be my character, whom your trainer character adopts. Youre going to play a Kangaskhan, whom my trainer character adopts. :) Sarai is not interested in adopting Eevee. She'll be interested in your Kamgaskhan once you introduce it.)

Eevee opened her eyes a fraction, regarded the bait for a moment, then closed them. A feeble little whimper escaped her. After a moment or two, a tear leaked from the corner of her eye.

( Sorry my bad)

"That won't do sweetie." Steve said kind. He took a small portion of the bait and forced it gently in Eevee's mouth.

The rest of the bait he had put beside him next to some bushes, a little arm came out of the bushes and took hold of the bait.

Kalya ejected the bait from her mouth. Her eyes flew open, and she glared at Steve.
Then, in English as clear as anything, she shouted out in her little voice: "STOP! I not hungry."
The sound of the shout brought Sarai to the scene. She came running,bursting into the clearing.
"What's going on? Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, except that this Eevee seemed to be able to talk.....and lying, kind of." He returned his attention to Kayla. "Sweetie, you are hardly able to move and judging by your state you HAVE to eat something, you may have a reason you are not feeling hungry but it is clear you are starving yourself."

Then he saw out of the corner of his eye that his bait was pulled into the bushes and he hear chewing sounds. He took some leaved out of the way and saw a baby Kangaskhan nibbling on the bait. The little Pokemon saw him and jumped back she stretched out as much as she could (What wasn't very much) And let out a intimidating "KANGASKAN!" At leas that was her intention it sounded very cute instead.

Kalya only eyed the food suspiciously for a time, then its bringer. "Well, I don't trus' your face," she grumbled. "You REALLY good deep down inside?"
Sarai caught her breath. "Oh, it's a cute little Kanagaskhan!" She knelt down to admire it.
"Hello there, sweet," she said softly. "We're sorry we frightened you. But that food was meant for that sick little Eevee over there, and if we feed you, your mommy won't be happy. Run along, okay?" She knew how ferocious the mothers of Kangaskhan could be.

"What is wrong with my face?" Steve asked. "Besides the little Kangaskhan who ate some is still alive isn't she?" He reasoned.

The little Kangaskhan gave a soft growl but refused to leave her 'prey'. (The bait)
