WIP help
Yeah I have a few questions that I hope some resident artists could help me with ^^;
I have this work in progress picture That I am working on and was wondering about how to color it.... Basically I suck at coloring and I would really like it if some one could help me by tossing me a few tips on coloring techniques on the computer as well as primal media such as color pencils, paint, markers, and pens. I am attempting several different styles of coloring this WIP in and was hoping that some one could give me some help I desperately need.... |
Really, the computer is the easiest cleanest way if you have a program like photoshop. Of course it can be harder if you have no idea how to use it. I went about painstakingly teaching myself, learning tricks along the way. Check out the Photoshop Tricks in this, the Artist Area, to find tips that help IMMENSELY for coloring hand drawn work

I dont haz photo shop <.< >.> has ms paint and ms word ^^ though I have a really old program called print shop which is good for pillowing effects and noting else since it has no layers TT.TT

Maybe you could get the trail version of photoshop just to see if you like it then go from there

Hopefully I can get a digitizing pad before then =D

What's a digitizing pad? You mean a tablet?

I'd say computer, because if you eff up or discover you wanted a different color then the one you first picked, you can easily change it.
