Just two miles from Everlast Glades town, there was the largest and richest propriety of the region, Willow Hill; on the apex of thehill sat Willow Hill Manor, the home of the Ashcroft family; Lady Amanda Ashcroft, a widow mother of ten children, seven girls and three boys, lived there with her two sisters, theyr very young husbands, and theyr children. She ruled with an iron hand in a velvet glove, and was respected andhealtly feared by everyone; however, working for her was considered a great honour, she payed good wages, and was reputed very fair, if strict and with some eccentricity. Sowhen the reverend informed our poor protagonist of this chance, she presented herself at the manor door.
A big, stern-looking woman came out "Yes, lass, what can I doo for you?" She asked, more softly than expected.

"Good morning ma'am." The young girl said. "My name is Lisa and I hear you where looking for someone who could work here?"

She looked pointly at her. "Mmmm, come with me, lass, Lady Ashcroft shall see you immediatly!"

"Yes ma'am." Lisa said and followed the woman inside. 'Can I ask who you are?"

"I'm the governess, Mrs Ironsmith!" She stated.

"Mrs, Ironsmith." Lisa repeated. "It is nice meet you." She said polite.

She smiled "You seem polite enought lass." She phraisied.

"I like to think I am brought up properly." She smiled back.

"Good, than you'll findyourself at home, here!" She said. They stoppedin front of a room, from were came sounds of smacks and yelps.

"Mrs Ironwood? W...what is going on in that room?" She asked a bit nervous.
