My Hero Academia: Light in the darkness
 

It had been a few weeks since the hero course had made a trip to train with the Pussy Cat squad, whilst many of the up and coming rookie heros were extremely excited at the prospect of being able to train and increase their knowledge and mastery of their quirks, there were some people who were dreading the trip namely one Fumikage Tokoyami.

Tokoyami had every reason to be extremely nervous about the idea of training without his counter measures being so close by, mainly his lamps that he used to calm down a rambunctious Dark Shadow when the quirk would run wild during the night.

Fumikage had however seen a positive to this whole ordeal as he had been given a room with a certain green haired young teen with whom he had teamed up with in the past during the sports festival.

"What a mad banquet of darkness" Tokoyami thought to himself as he put his bags down on his bed as they finally were shown to their rooms

Midoriya hummed to himself, just keeping his mind busy as he set his bags down as well. The self proclaimed "Hero Lover" was ecstatic! He loved the Pussycats, and was excited to train with them... Hopefully to... Better results than their first trip.

At the very least, he intended to not destroy his arms again. Since he was pretty sure that Aizawa-sensei would kill him.

Blinking as he came to his senses, he looked at Tokoyami, giving him a smile. "Hey Tokoyami-kun. Ready for training?"

Tokoyami had just finished sorting out his clothing and putting them into the proper compartments, to say that he was elated it was Midoriya that he would be training with was..... soothing to say the least.

The bird headed boy had also set himself a goal and that was to try and increase his level of control over his Dark Shadow, as his attempt last time had critically backfired to put it lightly.

Turning to the sound of his friend he had finished putting on his training outfit that he normally used at school. "I think so Midoriya-kun.... I just hope I don't end up hurting you like last time" Tokoyami said turning his head slightly to look away at the bitter memory.

Midoriya was, admittedly, shocked that Tokoyami even thought that. Walking over, he gently placed a hand on Tokoyami's shoulder, flashing him his bright smile. 'Brighter than the sun' he'd heard Uraraka-chan and Todoroki-kun refer to it...

"Tokoyami-kun, you know I don't blame you for any of that. We're all still learning, and you're my friend! This is another chance for us to prove ourselves!"

The Hero Lovers smile was something that always seemed to make him feel better. He had to agree with Uraraka-chan's definition of Midoriya's smile...

"I-I mean.... thank you Midoriya-kun" The avian headed boy bashfully replied as he felt his feathers plum up at the compliment.

"Shall we get going, I'd rather not get a paddling like Mineta-kun did last night for being tardy" Tokoyami reminded Izuku since their teacher whilst being very hands off this training trip, was still looking for slackers.

"Somehow I feel like Mineta-kun is going to have more issues sitting this trip than the rest of us combined." Midoriya sighed, shaking his head. Mineta was... Very much a trouble maker.

"But we should get going, yeah." he said, grinning again. He opened the door, having changed into his training gear, and let Tokoyami through.

"Yes I agree with you there, although I can't help but agree with the results" Tokoyami agreed as he walked out onto the walkway of the apartments and waited for Midoriya to exit.

"Prehaps we can use such a system to better our results from this trip?" The young avian headed boy thought to himself out loud.

Midoriya laughed softly at that. "Mineta-kun certainly doesn't do himself many favors." he joked softly, without any real mean intent.

The boy blinked, however, when Tokoyami mentioned his thought. Closing the door behind him, he tilted his head. "You mean... Spank each other if we don't meet goals, Tokoyami-kun?" he asked quietly, a soft blush on his cheeks.

Tokoyami snapped out of his deep thinking state and eyed Midoriya as he responded to his idea, he hadn't mean't to say it outloud. "Ah well its just an idea anyway, but I do trust you deeply Midoriya-kun if we were to try this idea out?" Tokoyami said as he allowed a small smile to grace his features.

"What do you say Midoriya, would you mind allowing me to spank you?" he asked looking for confirmation.

Midoriya blushed a bit more, but smiled. A gentle nod to his classmate and friend, before he spoke.

"I trust you too, Tokoyami-kun."
