Jennifer was a exceptionally special girl.

She was very gifted Academicly and Capable of acting almost like a grown up.

She was very much a lady with a kind of poise that was almost extinct in this day and age.

Recently shes put out a application as a babysitter seeing if it drew any attention

Waiting patiently until...

The phone rang, on the other end was a hopeful mother looking for anyone to take her daughter in stride. "Hello Jennifer? This is Nicole and I was wondering if you are available to sit this weekend?" She hesitated for a second before continuing.

"Ummm...you should know my daughter isn't... Well she's a brat. Are you able to deal with that?"

Jennifer is glad to get interest but smiles

"I think I can take her in hand, provided I have a free hand dealing with her as I see fit" ;ets the implication hang in the air

"Is that ok Nicole? I know of no other way to handle brats"

"Please anything you can do to try and keep her in line. Does 30$ a day sound alright to you?" Nicole plead hopefully.

pauses knowing shes being a bit mean but trys bargaining a little

"$35?" asks.

"Sounds like it will be a challenge.


"I relish challenges" says approvingly.

"But it also means it will be harder work"

"You drive a hard bargain missy!" Nicole laughed over the phone. "35 should be enough to deal with my Carrie. Can you come by around noon on friday?"

"Of course Nicole Can I bring my own hairbrush or do you think I should try using yours?"

"Might as well bring yours. Mine is just cheap plastic Im afraid."

"Mines Maple Ma'am " says cheerfully enough.


"Ma'am just out of curiousity? would you be ok if I ... established that I'm in charge at the start before doing anything else"

"Your the expert here. Sweetheart. Would you like to take care of that earlier?"
