Mother Earth's Children(For Joseph)
 

Rodrigo is the son of Mother Earth herself. He was destined to save the world from an Evil Lord, but the villian he had to defeat forced the innocent boy to see the worst on humanity.

Instead of allying with the enemy,Rodrigo destroyed the world....


"Humanity has....no hope of redemption...all my fights were to defend a....foolish and evil race....if that's so....I'm just gonna destroy this evil planet!!"

Luckly,he didn't blow up the whole planet,only about half of it,due to all his journey beforehand taking a small,yet enough toll on his energy. He fell asleep,the few survivors never knowing the source of their Apocalypse was a young,immortal child...

Five hundred years later, there was another little boy. His name was Joseph, and originally, he was a human, one of the survivors trying to rebuild their world. But he was a special boy, for Mother Earth herself adopted him and made him a godling!

He was given an emerald with all of Mother Earth’s memories of the last five hundred years, and was sent into the past, just before Rodrigo could destroy the world!

“OH, NO YOU DON’T!” A young voice yelled, and tackled Rodrigo!

"Another mortal....fine. I might as well start with you!" Rodrigo said,getting up as he raised his energy agressively! If Joseph wanted to say something,now would be the time,before Rodrigo lost it from all the bad experiences he had before with mortals!

“I can’t believe you’re allowing yourself to be fooled like this!” Joseph said, taking a non-aggressive neutral stance. “The Evil Lord is manipulating you, Rodrigo! He’s made it so you only see the bad side of Humanity, and none of the good, in order to get you to join him! But you won’t,” the boy shook his head. “Instead, you’ll destroy part of the world. I know, because I’m from the future!”

"I wanted to wipe out the whole thing,not part of it. How can I be sure you ain't telling this only to save yourself?" Rodrigo asked, "Prove it that mortals aren't all bad,or I'm gonna blow up the planet!"

Well,at least he is giving Joseph a chance! Even at the moment he wanted to destroy the planet Rodrigo was still fundamentaly pure,and sure he was doing the right thing by destroying the "evil mortals that didn't deserve mommy's gifts!"

His idea was to destroy everything so that Mother Earth could rebuild the planet,and hopefully the next mortals she made would be good and different from the ones he wiped out! Before Creation,comes Destruction....

Using one of his many gifts he had received as a new godling, Joseph opened a portal that allowed Rodrigo to see all the good of humanity! An overworked father taking the time to read a story to his children. Teenagers operating a soup kitchen to feed the hungry. Mothers adopting orphaned children, giving them hope for a better future. Children, playing together and sharing candy around a fire place.

“And if you still don’t believe me... let’s ask Mommy Earth! She would know, and I gotta give her this gem,” Joseph showed him the emerald. “It has the memories of her future self. And so hou know I’m being truthful...” he gulped and turned around. “If you think I’m lying, I’ll let you spank my bum bum!”

Rodrigo's eyes narrowed,and he raised his hand....but then lowered it,"I wanna see a good mortal right in front of me,like those you showed." he decided.

“Well, how am I gonna get a random mortal right now?!” Joseph looked back at him, blinking, but secretly glad his bum bum wasn’t being spanked.

"I dunno,you are the one who is trying to prove to me mortals are worth saving!" Rodrigo cutely whined,showing his age.

He then thought about it and said, "But you could always pray for my mommy,if you're good I'm sure she'll help you find a way,and if you're not a nice guy,nothing will happen for about ten to twenty seconds,before I start thinking you were showing me an illusion and spank your bum bum,then BOOOM for this planet!"

His energy wasn't agressive,after all he was shown before Joseph showing him the good things in mortals,he just wanted to make sure he wasn't being tricked.

Rodrigo showed his trust and love for his mommy by offering Joseph a chance to appeal to her,to see if she'd help him see a good mortal personally.

(Lol,this was a good excuse for past Mother Earth to accept the Emerald as a gift later on,if she has the opportunity to see Joseph is good and helped him ease her original son's little heart by proving once and for all mortals can be good,she'd surely accept the emerald. )

“That’s a good idea,” Joseph nodded, then closed his eyes, folded his hands, and silently prayed. When he was done, he opened his eyes. For a second, nothing happened.

Then, an Earthen portal opened with an arrow pointing at it. It was obvious Mother Earth was telling them to go through it! Joseph motioned at Rodrigo, “after you.” He followed him, and then, they were in a city. Joseph pointed over, and Rodrigo saw a woman giving some money to a homeless person out of the goodness of her heart!

Joseph pouted at him, “see?! Told you!”
