Heavenly Anarchy
 

Aziraphale was as content as an Angel could be. His bookshop was back to normal, he and Crowley were still alive, and the Earth was still in one peace. However, that contentment was soon to be shattered by the arrival of a small angelic force of chaos.

The young Angel had been sneaking out of Heaven and was still too immature to actually be on earth. She had taken the appearance of an 8 year old girl, with shoulder long brown hair and grey blue eyes. Many of earth’s workings had been unknown to her and she used her powers rather recklessly. In one instant she turned a man into a pig who tried to talk to her.

Having been cataloguing some new stock, Aziraphale was startled into utter stillness as he felt some angelic force being used close by. This was very unusual, as the power felt very immature.

Deciding that this required investigation, he locked up his shop and headed for a nearby street.

The young Angel continued her way stopping at the corner as she saw a hot dog vendor. She wondered what it was as it smelled quite nicely. Hmmn. Angels didn’t need food but they could eat out of pleasure.

Aziraphale stopped as he came around the corner, eyes widening. To any other person, the little girl standing near the hot dog vendor was nothing out of the ordinary. However, hecould clearly see a faint celestial light shining from within her. How extraordinary! He had never come across an Angelic child on Earth before.

Sandy did reach out to the hot dog but yelped as her little fingers got burned. “Ahieh!” The vendor frowned. “Hey! Little girl! Don’t touch that! Are you crazy?” He grabbed her and Sandy growled. “Don’t touch me!” And she was just about to use her powers.

Feeling the air around him starting to tingle, Aziraphale could guess what was going to happen. He quickly clicked his fingers, knowing that as an adult Angel, he could suppress the powers of Angel's who were not fully mature. He had to get her off the street before she hurt someone.

Sandy snipped but nothing happened. She frowned more and tried again. “Don’t you snip around here! Where are your parents?” What were parents? Sandy was about to tell the human off but did suddenly feel a familiar power.

Smoothly laying a hand on Sandy's shoulder, Aziraphale smiled charmingly at the vendor and said apologetically:

"So sorry, my ward got away from me. She's a bit nervous about being in a different place, so she ran away. I assure you, Sir, she won't bother you again."

Sandy looked up and saw Aziraphale. There! That’s where the power come from! The vendor seemed to relax. “Oh no trouble!”

The Angel looked up as they got away. “You’re an Angel I can feel your power.” She said.
