Babysitter: Madison and Lucy (For Bare Harold)
 

Madison Winters, was a fifteen year old girl. She had dark blue eyes, and black, shoulder length hair. It was a beautiful summer afternoon, and she was lying in her room reading. She looked up when the phone rang, but then kept reading.

"Hello" said Helen, answering the phone.

On the other line of the phone was Lillian Johnson a 32-year-old single mother. "Hello, Helen how are you doing?" She greeted. "I need your help with something the station is down a broadcaster and they called me in however I have no one to watch over Lucy while I'm gone. I understand it's short notice but can I have Madison please come over and watch her while I'm gone? I be more than willing to pay you for your services as well as the inconvenience." Lilian questioned the girl. She knew that Madison and Lucille were close so it was her first choice to ask.

"Oh hello Lillian" she said, listening to her plight, "It's ok with me, hang on..." She called up to Madison, and the teen came down. "What's up Mom?" she asked. Helen explained, and then handed her the phone. "Hello Mrs. Johnson" she said, "Mom explained, and I'd be happy to watch Lucy."

(Forgot to ask, but it is Mrs. Johnson, right? Is she a widow, like Helen?)

"Oh thank you so much." Mrs. Johnson said feeling a great relief on her shoulders. "I have to leave in about forty-five minutes. I'll see you then." She said hanging up the phone. She then spent the next half hour getting ready to head out to work as well as getting everything situated for when Madison arrived.

(Yes she is.)

"I'll be there" said Madison, before hanging up.

Half an hour later, she went to the door. "See ya Mom" she said. "By" she said, "Be sure to follow all of Mrs. Johnson's rules." "I will" she said, nodding. "Good" she said, nodding, "Because if you don't, you'll get spanked." Madison grimaced at that. "Mom!" she groaned, "I'm too old..." "Let's not have that argument" she said, "Get going." "Ok" she said, leaving, and heading across the street. She went to the door, and rang the doorbell.

Up in her room 9-year-old, Lucille Johnson or Lucy for short was in her room watching videos on her iPad when she heard the doorbell ring. Confused on who it was the girl gets up and walks downstairs towards the front door and unlocks it opening to see it was Madison. "Madison what are you doing here?" Lucy questioned the older girl.

Hearing the doorbell as well Lillian begins putting on her finishing touches as she exits her room and begins making her way to the front door.

Madison smiled at her friend. "Hey Lucy" she said, ruffling her hair, as she stepped inside, "Did your mom not tell you? She needs to go to work, and called me to watch you."

"Lucy I have to head to work today because someone called out due to an emergency. So I called Madison to come over and babysit you for a few hours." Lillian explained. Hearing this Lucy starting to get annoyed.

"Mom I don't need a babysitter. Besides Madison isn't really that much older than me." Lucy tries to argue However, Lilian begins explaining the rules to Madison.

"So Madison. Here the guidelines. My room, my study, attic, and the basement are all off-limits. Lucy has to have her bath at 8:30 or she might end up forgetting. Also please help her when she is bathing since she has trouble washing her back. There's plenty of food in the fridge to preheat but if you want you can order takeout food. Any questions?" Lilian explained as asked.

Madison smiled at Lucy's protests. "I'm five years older" she said, as she listened to Lillian, "Let's see...does she have any meds? Or allergies? And what should I do, if she misbehave?"

(I just had an idea...wanna say Lucy's nine, but her birthday is only a month or so away? If yes, I'll change the first post to say Madison's fourteen...almost fifteen.)

"No she doesn't have any meds or allergies and in the case, Lucy does misbehave then you have my permission to take Lucy over your knee and give her a good spanking however you see fit." Lilian explained which mortified Lucy.

"Mom no. Madison can't spank me. She my friend." Lucy tried to argue.

"Well, tonight she's going to be your friend second and you babysitter first." Lilian said.

"But I don't need a babysitter." Lucy argued again crossing her arms.

"Lucille Johnson, either drop this attitude or else." Lilian warned. Lucy huffed but decides to drop the argument after hearing the use of her full name as she goes towards the couch of the living room. "Like I said, however, you want to spank her is fine
I'll be home by 10:30. Have a good night." Lillian said to the two girls before heading out the door leaving a huffy Lucy
