Masen's Adoption
 

It was a rainy day in the smithhaven adoption center. Masen sat in his bed watching all the adults come in and walk right past him heading to where the newborn babies were. He whimpered softly as he hugged his teddy to his chest. He soon had tears welling up in his eyes as he did so. He hiccuped softly and looked down at the floor assuming no one wanted him again today. He then laid on his bed facing the wall as he cried softly clinging to his teddy. Masen felt really bad that he was unwanted. He hiccuped softly as he cried hurying his face into his pillow

Aston knelt down next to the bed "Hey little one,what's wrong,what's got you down in the dumps?" he asked

Masen looked up at him "Um n-no one wants ms" he said whimpering softly. He then hiccuped as he looked up at the man

"Now where would you get such an idea?" Aston asked "Have you tried talking to any of them?"

Masen shook his head no "Nu uh" he said whimpering a bit

"Well there's your problem" Aston chuckled "You seem like a nice enough kid. How about I take you out to lunch hm? My treat"
