Question about rules for art suggestions.
 

I read the rules about no requests, but I just wanted to check if it was okay to just say like "Hey I have this oc if you want to draw her" as a topic just to put the idea out there.

Basically I'm wondering if the rule is just about bothering artists or if its a flat no to oc request?

What you're describing is a request. If you just stuck it in the suggestions forum phrased that way it'd probably be okay by the rules - although I warn you literally no ones going to do it.

Well, both, since what bothers the artists the most is people requesting them to draw their OCs (among other things).
It is messaging them directly, posting suggestions/requests in gallery comments and approaching them wanting things for free that our rules are against.

Posting generic suggestions in the suggestions section of the forum not targetted at anyone and not pesting anyone is generally, usually fine... but as I noted above probably nobodies going to do it. Threads like that lack incentive.

Hey, loads of them offer commissions on this site. Plenty of them have adverts. If you wanted to speak to them about prices if you wanted to pay artists to do it - then they'd be delighted to hear from you.

Alright, that's perfectly understandable and why I asked. Ah, well i'll just have to wait till after the holidays then XD
