Can a non-artist link to an external artist?
 

Situation is as follows:

I recently commisioned a spanking art work. I told the artist (who has commision info and a carrd site that I might post it here under "personal use" terms as agreed, and whether they (non-binary person, hence the term) would object to have her commision info linked, in case someone might want to commision as well.

They agreed (the art is signed and credit will be given, and said that I was free to link to their commisions info- that in fact they would find it helpful.

The question is- the rules state that artists can't post comission info until they are established. Does this apply to artists both in an outside the site- namely, could I link to commision info from this artist external to the site? I don't think there is a specific clarification of this.

The rules present three different cases for the two scenarios: Artists and non-artists in resident and third-party.

For the first two posting into communal or their own galleries its no text only advertising.
For the last it's no patreon or paywall bait and no advertising.

All of this relates to the image being posted.

Nobodies going to be bothered or lose their mind if you post a commissioned artwork and put in the description where you found it and how to contact the artist.
It's only if the image itself has commission information on it instead of a drawing - or if it's unnecessarily censored purely to drive our members to other sites.

The image itself features no info other than their signature. Commision info would go into the description.
