Digimon: Back to Normal (for Matisse)
 

It has only been a few days since the Digidestined took their train back from the digital world. As soon as they returned home, they all had a hard time adjusting back to normal life without their digimon, some more then others.

Mimi and Izzy were in the living room of the spoiled girl, Izzy was hard at work trying to find a way back to the digital world while Mimi was sitting nearby painting her toes nonchalantly. She doesn’t understand any of what he’s trying to do but he needed to borrow some internet so she let him come over. Meanwhile, she was slowly becoming impatient. “Are you done yet? I want to watch my show!” Mimi complained as Izzy ignored her, deep into his work. “Helloooo! I’m talking to you Izzy!”

As Izzy went on with his work and Mimi was getting restless, Satoe, Mimi's mom, went to check if they needed something.
She entered in the living room wearing her usual with dress and pink apron, with a smile on her face.
"Do my little angel needs something?" she asked to Mimi, with a smile.

“No mom, Izzy is just taking forever like usual.” Mimi puffed her cheeks. It always bugged her when Izzy would ignore her as he continued to work. “I’m never letting you come back over!” She said angrily as Izzy rolled his eyes, too busy to deal with Mimi’s attitude right now. It would just make everyone so happy if they could see their digimon again. And he will figure it out!

Satoe looked strictly at her daughter. It was true that her friend was a little to absorbed in the PC, and she would have a talk about it with him later, but that wasn't a valid reason to disrespect guests.
"Mimi, this is not the way you address a guest." she sternly said "I want you to give him an apology."

“I’m not going to apologize to HIM!” Mimi said almost in disgust as Izzy was listening to the conversation on and off but still did not move from his work. “He should apologize to me for not giving me the attention I deserve!” She said, stomping her bare foot with a huff

The mother wasn't happy with that reaction. She spoiled her daughter a lot, but she didn't stand disrespect, not to that degree.
Crossing her arms, Satoe saying with a strict voice "I suggest you to stop this tantrum and give him an apology, before I began to count to three. You know what that means, right?"

Mimi now stood to her feet and stomped them again as she threw a fit. “Shut up and leave me alone! Or maybe I’ll tell dad that you were so mean to me all day!” She said, trying to use her manipulation to get what she wanted

Satoe's hand grabbed Mimi's eyes in less than a second, while the free hand delivered a loud slap on her covered behind.
"Izzy, dear, look at us instead of the pc." she said, gently but frmly "You're about to see what happens to a naughty girl in this house."

Immediately, Mimi let out a squeak as the first smack fell. She quickly used her hands to cover the seat of her dress as she blushed, hoping Izzy wouldn’t look up from his computer. “N-No... not in front of him!” Looking up for just a moment to see the first spank fall, Izzy’s eyes went wide before turning his eyes back to the laptop, blushing.

Satoe however was determined to punish her daughter, and doing it in front of someone else was perfect to take her down a peg.
The mother sat on the couch, saying "Izzy, look at the punishment without averting your eyes."
And with those words, she dragged her daughter across her lap.
