Sakura no Hana (for Bare Harold)
 

The sound of Ayaka's footsteps seemed to echo in the silence of the building. She had cleaned herself up, wearing a plain black kimono with large pink flowers decorating it.
Her long dark hair was down on her shoulders.

She had just returned from what should have been a recovery mission, one of her lord's spies had been captured and held captive inside a small fortress.
Ayaka had led the charge but underestimated the strength of the guards.
It had been a terrible defeat.

The samurai girl stopped in front of the doors of the main hall of her lord's palace and let out a slow sigh, clutching the katana sheath, nervously, and knocking. When she received permission to enter she stepped through her threshold, walked to the center of the room, kneeling on the floor, she placed the katana in front of her and then, without daring to look up at her lord, she bent down until her forehead touched the floor, in deep guilt.

Ayaka's lord and master was A young man with jet black hair tried into A ponytail with the sides shaved down and his name was Hatano Takeo. "Welcome back Ayaka." He greeted his officer after being gone for A few days as he stares at the girl bowing towards himhim. He had no idea of the news of her mission since he wanted to get the report from her. "So who was the mission?" He asked the million-dollar question waiting for A response.

Ayaka let out a slow sigh.
She didn't move from that prostrate position and began to speak.
"It didn't go as we hoped," she admitted. "I underestimated the enemy forces and we couldn't take the fortress," she explained softly. "We had to fall back to avoid taking too many death. Many of our soldiers have been wounded and are now receiving appropriate treatment." Said, then she was silent.
She had made mistakes and her defeat burned her, but she knew those mistakes would be punished.

Hatano Takeo listens to the report and hearing how it was her underestimating the enemies that lead to them not being able to take the fortress and grow their control in the land. Sighing he puts that aside as he listens that the soldiers who were wounded and still alive were now getting treatment but there were still casualties that could've been avoided. Ayake had to be punished for this. "Ayaka, I appreciate your honesty, however, while there might have been factors out of your control your overconfidence and underestimating the enemy which fueled our defeat, and you must be punished for this."

Ayaka didn't move. "Yes my lord," she said softly. "I am aware of my mistakes," she said. The discipline of the samurai required the expiation of their mistakes.
For her, who had the weight of many lives on her shoulders and in part that of the entire nation, every mistake was a catastrophe.
She hesitated, she knew it would be painful, but she had never tried to avoid punishment.
"Please, my lord, punish me as you see fit," she finally said, her voice trembling slightly, still prostrate on the floor.

Seeing that she will accept her punishment without resistance Hatano Takeo was impressed with her however that wouldn't save her from punishment. Sitting down on his knees in front of the girl he then begins to speak. "Alright, then Ayaka, come over my lap and we'll begin your punishment." He explained to her. It has been quite A while since the last time needing A proper punishment but last time it took A few days for her to start properly sitting down again.

Ayaka very slowly straightened her back.
With a very solemn gesture she raised her arms and tied her hair.
Feeling her stomach tighten in anticipation she walked over to the man and lay down on her knees, belly against legs. Her elbows and palms were resting on the floor for now, but Ayaka knew she wasn't going to maintain that composure for long. Her butt, covered by the kimono, protruded in a perfect position to be spanked.

With Ayaka now over his lap, Hatano then places his hand down on her bottom. "I hope you are ready for this." He warned her before raising his hand and then slams it down onto Ayaka's backside, landing right on the center. "I am ready, my lord," she said, closing her eyes. She tensed as she felt Hatano's palm rise, then drop again.
She received her first blows composed and quietly, but no matter how accustomed she was to pain, the methodical pain of punishment, coupled with her humiliation, would not be easy to endure for long.
The man would begin to hear her jump, faint moans escaping her lips, the slaps, muffled by the kimono, echoed in the room.

Hatano always started slowly making sure to get every inch of her behind was spanked first. He wanted to at least create A small tingle on her bottom which he would steadily grow until it became unbearable for her.
