Vampires Among Us
 

It was a cold foggy night in the land of Alatraya. In a rural manor a young girl was playing alone in her playroom, kneeling next to a large, finely crafted dollhouse. The manor must have been quite opulent at some point, but had fallen into ruin, like the mansion of the Ushers in Poes famous tale, most would presume it empty. But its little occupant did not care for loneliness as long as she had her playmates of cloth. She wore a plain dress of light blue color, soft shoes and her hair was long and her hair was of a light red color. You see, alltough she looked like a mature nine year old Myra was a vampire and in fact hundred of years old. She awaited her guardian to bring something to feast home.

Said woman was currently bringing said dinner to the ruined mansion. The woman had pale skin but A curvaceous body with red eyes and white hair wearing A black and red dress and black heels. This was Valentina, the mother of Myra as well as the same one who turned the nine-year-old into A vampire as well. Arriving at the mansion Valentina entered the main foyer and called out to the younging. "Myra. I'm back." She called.

"Mother!", Myra said and dropped her doll careleslly, she rushed down, the soles of her shoes making no sound on the marble floor and fell into her parents arms, welcoming her back. While Myra was so old, she still often behaved like an affectionate child, even though her playfulness could take a sinister tone. Like a cat.

Valentina hear the voice of the short vampire and then scooped the small vampire up into her arms. "Nice to see you've behaved. I have dinner right with me." She said opening the burlap sack to reveal what their dinner was going to be.

"Of course I behaved, mother. I was a good girl and played with my dolls all night.", Myra said politely and came closer when Valentina opened the sack, wanting to see what she had got quickly.

The one in the bag was A young human male that has been paralyzed by Valentina's magic. "Don't worry he's still alive so his blood is still warm." She quickly added.
