Pokémon: Journey Across The Brand New World (for Salazar Hotel)
 

It is late at night in Pallet Town, most of the townsfolk are fast asleep with sounds coming from only wind chimes and the cries of wild Pokémon. That is, except for 3 houses that are not connected in any way except for the fact they are in the same town. The 1st house belongs to the Ketchum family, where the light is on in one bedroom and the sounds of the tv could be heard.

Delia, Ash’s mom, is already getting very frustrated as she stomped her bare feet towards Ash’s room. She told her son multiple times it was time to go to bed cause she knew he would have a hard time getting up tomorrow. It is a big day for him and he can’t afford to be late to Professor Oak’s lab for his appointment to pick his first Pokémon. Not only that, but as she was trying to change into her nighttime clothes, a large explosion from the tv make her jump and is now a huge factor in her lack of patience tonight.

Still in her day clothes, Delia opened Ash’s door with a glare. “Ash! I thought I told you to go to bed multiple times?” She questioned as she grabbed a remote by the tv and lowered the volume. “And this is way to loud! I can’t afford to get a noise complaint!”

Ash was usually a good kid, listening to his mom and making sure he didn't incur her wrath, yet sometimes it was inevitable and Ash would be over Delia's knee more often than not and with a bright red bottom to boot! Ash might have been the most well spanked kid in Pallet Town! However this particular night he had a potentially good reason to be up, a really good one.

It was the finals! And the Trainers fighting were some of the best! One of them had a Gengar and the other got all the way through with his Nidorino! Of course there would be only one winner and it would be the talk of the town too! He had even betted a little on who would win with his friends so he just HAD to find out who won, it would just take a few minutes.

Or maybe 10, or 20...or 30. There were commercials after all!

Perhaps if he was smarter he'd lower his volume so he can watch without his mother coming in or complaining but he just had to see who won! Laying on his bed on his stomach, intently watching the TV he heard the door open and looked at his mom barging in, "Oh uh sorry mom just the big battle was on tonight", he attempts to apologizing leaning to the right to view his battle and ooo another hit on Gengar with a crippling Bite! It was almost over he just had to see till the end!

“Ash I told you multiple times to go to bed and yet here you are, still watching tv without a car in the world. What if you oversleep? And I will not get a noise complaint because of you.” She told him, crossing her arms sternly at him before stomping up to the tv and turning it off. “There! Now go to bed before you go to bed regretting it!” She warned, shaking her head as she turned her back to try and head out of the room. If she didn’t challenge him here, she will definitely check on him later

Ash sweatdropped as he heard his mother scold him and well, he didn't think that she'd be so mad but maybe this was an important part of his life, but he just HAD to get that final battle in, he nodded and said , "yes Mom", as he didn't want to argue with her and after she had left and he couldn't hear her...he simply turned on the TV and lowered the volume a bit, hoping to fool his mom.

“If I have to come back in here, you will be in BIG trouble so don’t make me do that.” Delia warned one last time before shutting the door. Little would Ash know, she’ll be standing right outside the door as this is going to act as a little test to see if he’s true to his word about going to bed, or if he’s just lying to get her to leave

Ash of course would continue his spree, he just had to fool his mom. Waiting for a few seconds he resumed watching, deciding to lower the volume a bit more, a tad worry she might try to come back. He was fully unaware that Delia was probably now getting ready to spank his backside to oblivion or more likely red, hot, and sore.

Delia was not surprised in the slightest to hear the sound was once again on, admittedly at a lower volume but she didn’t ask him to lower it. She wanted it off completely for the night and he knows it. She can’t say that she didn’t warn him as he opened the door and glared a hole into his soul

Ash was just about to see who won and then his mom came in and he sweatdropped as he saw the glare, that same glare when he knew that his bottom was toast, "E-Erm HI mom",the boy sunk into his bed turning off the TV as he hoped that he would have some kind of mercy.

“Ash! Get out of here right this minute!” Delia ordered as she stomped into his room, her bare feet slamming into the hard floor as she inched closer. To make matters worse, his bedroom window was wide open so if any of his neighbors were away, they could here what was happening and about to happen

Ash winced as he forgot to shut his window and he slunk out of his bed, "Yes mom",he said in a hushed voice as he looked at his mom nervously, the boy feeling dread as he got fully out from under his sheets.
