Bouncing Bear Cubs (private RP for KionTheFiercest)
 

It was a normal spring day, the glenn bustling about with activity. All gummis had something to do and things to do. Well...all adult Gummis. Making sure the coast was clear, a small head poked around the corner of the hallway leading to the quick tunnels. Cubbi grinned impishly as he got his satchel over his shoulder and tiptoed down the hall. This would be hard...he would have to bypass the three guardians of his imprisonment.

Sidestepping by creaks in the wood floor, he waited 30 seconds before a soft thump followed by a 'oh dear, oh dear.' was heard. He slipped by the purple knowledge keeper as his back was to the door, picking up a few books he'd dropped. Next he waited until the orange potion maker was preoccupied with her stew that was close to burning before he crawled past. He wasn't free yet, for finally came the hardest of them all. The brown prison guard and enforcer of the rules. He saw his door was open just a crack, but he couldn't let his guard down. Waiting for the right moment, he timed his hammer blows, and leaped past right when he brought it down.

He grinned, he was a step away from being freed from this prison! The prison that unfairly jailed him for two weeks simply for sneaking out at night to catch fireflies. Puffing up his chest with pride, he went to take his final steps to sweet freedom...only to be suddenly grabbed up by a paw belonging to a brown, strong and very angry adult male Gummi. He was hoisted up by the scruff of his neck and turned to face his very annoyed looking surrogate uncle.

"Oh! Hi Gruffi!" He smiled sweetly as he could as he tried to hide his satchel behind his back. "How are you to-"

"What are you doing out of your room, Cubbi?" Gruffi asked, sternly.

"Nothing, just you know, strolling about." Cubbi smiled as he tried to get down from the older bear's grasp.

"You aren't supposed to be out of your room for anything but eating." Gruffi scolded.

"But Gruffi!" Cubbi whined a bit. "Haven't I been punished enough? It's been DAYS since I've been outside! I'm going crazy in here!" The little cub tried to use his best puppy dog eyes in hopes it would sway the elder bear's mood.

"You only have one more day left, I think you can handle it." Gruffi said.

"But Gruffi..." Cubbi whined a bit. Why did his puppy eyes never work? It worked for Sunni all the time. "Can't you just let me go? I've been good the whole time! Please?"


"Nothing doing kid." Gruffi replied as he put the cub on his feet.


"This isn't fair! You'd let Sunni off a day early!"

"No, I would not." Gruffi said. "Now, get back to your room or I'll give you a spanking."

"Yes you would, cause you have! When she sneaked out with Gusto that one time, you let her off two days early and all she had to do was give you her 'sad puppy eyes'!" Cubbi argued as he stomped his foot, just fed up over how unfair this was.

"If it makes you feel better, I'll ground her for just as long as you next time she earns it but for now, you just earned that spanking, I mentioned." Gruffi said as he grabbed Cubbi by the arm and started marching him back to his room.
