Guardians of The Galaxy RP: Rocket's Terran Punishment (For RW55)
 

Aboard the Milano within the deepest reaches of space, all was quiet on the deck of the ship.

Most of the Guardian's had left on a mission to collect on a bounty, it has been a week since they had all stood their ground against Ronan the Accuser and touched one of the infinity stones of legend.

Rocket however was quite content to stay on board the ship, since nearly losing Groot, he had become quite protective of the little plant creature.

"Rocket! We're gonna be gone for awhile buddy! Come get us in a week or so, go do... whatever it is that space raccoons do in their alone time or whatever" Peter said with a rather dismissive and slightly confused tone.

Looking at the small still barely grown Groot for a moment and then out into the empty void of space one thought crossed his mind. "Gonna go to Knowhere..." he mumbled to himself.

Rocket sat at the control panel of the ship and punched in the coordinates to Knowhere, relaxing as the ship took flight and traveled through the galaxy at hyper speeds.

Knowhere was a literally den of all things sinful and the most rough and tumble area this side of the quadrent.

Bar's and back alley deals were a plenty here and all sorts of strange pleasures could be found it one knew where to look.

A bar was where the raccoon found himself, ordering a single drink that he wasn't even certain he could pay for.

A bar-keeper was busy tending to patrons at the bar, he noticed the half-worlder from a mild away and would get him a drink.

"Don't think I've ever seen you around here before? What's your name?" The bar-keeper inquired.

"What's it to ya?" Rocket snarled, not at all trusting a complete stranger.

"Nothin just tryin to make small talk, odd place to come this side of knowhere, most come here for a good night on the town or some "fun" " the bar-keeper used two fingers to get his definition of "fun" across the half-worlder.

"Hope you can pay your tab anyhow" the bar-keep quipped.

"Yeah, yeah," Rocket muttered. "Just get me the cheapest stuff you got." He watched as the bar keeper walked off and then muttered again, "Just one drink and then I'll be outta here."

"Sure thing" The bar-keep said as he would reach up to one of the glowing shelves of cheap liquor that he had and would pour it for the rodent.

"Thanks," Rocket said quietly when a glass was slid his way. In no longer than a minute, he had finished his drink and suddenly felt like another.
