[Private] Darkwing Duck: Across the Negaverse
 

A tremble shook through Gosalyn's body as she sat on her bed. She had her knees huddled to her chest, her face partially hidden by her knees.

It had been months since had she seen her old bedroom. A thick layer of dust coated it, but otherwise it was the same as she had left it. Now she was wishing she hadn't taken any of her things when preparing to live with the Friendly Four. She hadn't ever had expected to find herself again, and so she had taken all of her possessions; all of her toys, her clothes, anything that held a semblance of value to her.

But now her room was empty, devoid of life. Only the bright pink curtains remained, along with her old bed and wardrobe.

The empty room, at least, matched the hollowness she felt in her stomach.

Dad was back, and he was furious with her. He snatched her away from the Friendly Four, and he was quiet as he took her home. Gosalyn knew all too well what his silence meant.

Now, Gosalyn awaited the consequences of helping Darkwing Duck return to his own universe all those months ago; the consequences of betraying Negaduck.

Her father.

Negaduck then entered the room, a serious expression on his face.

Gosalyn shrunk in on herself, her arms closing around her knees even tighter. A knot of nausea formed in the pit of her stomach.

She knew exactly what was coming next.

"Dad, I," Gosalyn said, the words becoming stuck in her throat. "I'm sorry."

"You will be when I'm done with you." Negaduck said angrily as he marched over to her and grabbed her by the arm.

Gosalyn flinched at his tone. It had been the first words he'd spoken to her since returning. She couldn't stop the yelp from her lips as her arm was grabbed. "Please, Dad," Gosalyn pleaded softly. A small part of her hoped that in the months he was gone, her father had changed. Gosalyn knew her father better than that to actually fully believe it, but a tiny part still hoped.

"I didn't- I wasn't trying to..." Gosalyn's words got away from her as her eyes stung with tears. No matter what she said, she couldn't escape what was coming.

Negaduck sat on the bed and threw Gosslyn over his lap, face down and pinned her arms to her back.

At some point, somewhere around two months ago, her father had been gone long enough that Gosalyn convinced herself she'd never find herself in this position. She tried one last-ditch effort.

"Daddy," Gosalyn cried. She didn't struggle against her position, she knew better than that. "P-Please, I'm really sorry..."

"Too late." Negaduck said as he started spanking her, smacking his hand down hard on her bottom.

The reality that her life had changed, again, finally hit her at the same time her father's hand met her backside. She'd never see the Friendly Four again. She'd never be away from her dad again.

Gosalyn rapidly blinked to stop any tears leaking out. When that didn't work, she pushed her head against the mattress (because her bed was bare, having been stripped when she left) to hide her tears.

Negaduck continued to slam his palm into his daughter's backside, making it shake and start to turn red.
