Digimon Tamers: The Unwanted Babysitter (for Bakara)
 

Some time has passed since the defeat of the D Reaper and the gang still have not found a way to bring their partners back to the human world. Henry and his dad think they’re close but for now if they want to see them, they have to visit the Digital World, which returning from is a lot easier then last time but it’s still very time consuming so they don’t do it too often.

Meanwhile, at Rika’s household, she has a whole new crisis. “A babysitter?! Who do they think I am? I saved the world! I don’t need a babysitter!” Rika vented to herself in the living room. Her mom and grandmother had to leave for an emergency and they don’t know how long until they will come back. So they informed her via a note that a babysitter was called and should be here soon. She had no idea who the person was but once she does, the already unhappy girl will be even more upset

Takato was walking to the nice house of Rika's family. It was indeed an odd request to stay with her over the week. To be honest, he didn't really see it as babysitting. He just saw this as a nice way to stay with his friend. And even get money for it. But then Rita's mother said once sentence that changed everything.


"And if she acts up, feel free to punish her like you want. Spankings, mouth soapings, early bedtime."


So he was really able to use all of this? But this was Rita, right? She wouldn't get in trouble anyhow probably.


He walked up to the door of the house and rang the doorbell.

As Rika was venting to herself dressed in her blue and white shirt with a heart on it, her blue jeans and her socks; she was brought back to reality when the doorbell rang. She narrowed her eyes, half wanting to just ignore it. But the front door was unlocked anyway so they could just walk in. It could also be the mail man delivering the new cards she ordered.

Reluctantly, she made her way to the front door and opened it. She was expecting an older adult woman or some 20/30 something year old college student. But this was something far worse. “Gogglehead?! I’m not in the mood for any of your games! Now scram!” She glared at him, shoeing him away as she didn’t put the pieces together yet. “Can’t you bug Henry or Jeri?”

Takato wore his usual blue shirt and grey pants, a pair of white briefs underneath. He just wanted to hold his hand up in a greeting fashion as he heard Rika's 'greeting'. He was a little confused at first, until he realized that her mother probably didn't tell her about it.


"Ehm...Rika, I am here to stay with you for the week." he told her, doing his best to avoid the term 'babysit'.

It took a moment for Rika to understand as she looked up at him and his bags. Suddenly, her face went red. “Oh hell no!” She yelled, slamming the door in his face but forgetting to lock it. The last thing she needed was for her dorky friend to be the one “in charge” of her. Takato might see this more as friends hanging out but they both know the title he was given by her mom and grandma. How could they do this to her?!

Takato was a little startled at first, but then he knocked.



"Hey, Rika, what's wrong?" he asked before he tested the door. To his surprise, it was open and he just entered. "Rika, why are you so mad? I didn't do anything? And please don't yell at me." he asked her.

Rika rolled her eyes as he heard his voice enter the house and get closer as he walked inside. Sighing, she shook her head. She couldn’t believe this was happening. “Get out of my house, gogglehead!” She yelled as she had no idea he was given permission to do more then just stay there

Takato was startled again, but only for a moment. He didn't like being yelled at, he didn't like yelling in general. Maybe he had to use spankings after all.


"Rika, I told you to stop yelling. And stop calling my gogglehead, I have a name." he told her, still carriying his bag with everything he needed to stay for the week.


"I don't want to get all bossy here, so don't give me a reason to."

Rika stomped up to him, a glare on her face as she was completely caught off guard by his arrival. She had no idea the authority he has so she continued to push his buttons like she always did. “Shut up! You can’t tell me what to do!” Rika yelled, her blood boiling at this point. She was trying not to calm down but her natural anger was taking over. “Just leave me the hell alone! I can take care of myself!”

Takato sighed, before he pointed in the direction of Rika's room. He was in this house before, and he knew the layout.


"Ok, Rika, go to your room and stand in the corner." he told her, hoping that she would comply to this so he wouldn't have to get to the harsher punishments.
