Divine Punishment (for Bombay)
 

Mt. Oympus, The great and large mountain beginning from the earth and reaching high enough to penetrate the clouds in the sky and beyond. This was where the gods of Greece have claimed as their home. For countless centuries, they have reign over the earth, seas, the skies and even the dead. Currently the realm of the gods, one of well-known members Aphrodite, The Goddess of Beauty, Love, and Desire was at her palace dressed in a Greek-styled sleeveless white robe with the skirt of said robe only going down to her knees leaving her arms and calves completely exposed and a pair of gold colored heels. Unlike some of the others like Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Aphrodite had no real duties to manage with the mortals and would typical spend most of her time lounging around or pampering herself without a care in the world.

She wasn’t the only one who had more time on her hands. Athena was also enjoying her well deserved vacation. Even if there’s war and conflict everywhere, most don’t call for her aid. Even if they did, she would have to support their side to offer any aid. This rarely happens nowadays, so she’s appreciating being a silent observer. Relishing in the time she now has to enhance her wisdom and knowledge, and catch up on the finer things of life. What she doesn’t enjoy is having to deal with her siblings. Being one of the most responsible members of the pantheon means she has authority to discipline if she sees fit. The next person on her list was none other than the lustful Aphrodite. With golden armor glistening as she walked, she began removing it at the door, allowing her servants to assist her. They took the armor, helmet, shield, and bronze spear to the armory leaving her in a modest white robe adorned with golden accents. Her worn sandals clicked against the marble floor as she saw her sister lounging around. “Get up sister, we have much to discuss” she said in a tone that left no room for argument.

While sitting on her throne with a bowl of grapes next to her, eating one of them after every few minutes when suddenly her time of peace was abruptly interrupted. Aphrodite was caught off-guard hearing a voice calling out to her. Looking up and sees the stern looking approaching figure of her sister, Athena. "Athena, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Aphrodite questioned the goddess of wisdom and warfare while rising from her seat and standing on her feet somewhat confused to the sudden visit. Given the tone of voice that she was using, it was clear that whatever the reason was for the visit, it was something that seems to really upset her.

“Do not play coy with me sister, you know exactly why I’m here given my new position. You’ve been playing with people’s emotions and upsetting the natural balance of things. Hera is not happy, and she has appointed me to put an end to it. We have warned you time and time again what would happen, but you seemed to have disregarded all of that. Now is the time for action” Athena said sitting down where Aphrodite was lounging. “Over my lap, and let’s make this quick. I don’t have all day to punish a spoiled little brat”

Aphrodite rolled her eyes hearing the comment from Athena which probably wasn't the best move hearing the accusation from goddess of wisdom despite being caught red-handed. Even though she had indeed played with the emotions of many mortals, she always felt that just came with her title. "Well it isn't my fault that mortals are easy drawn in by my attributes and can be so easily fooled." She teases. Though it was clear that Athena was on a mission as she didn't dare to argue and instead took a seat in Aphrodite's throne demanding the beauty goddess to bend over. "What? You can't be serious? You can't treat me like this!" She argued while in arms reach of Athena.

That eye roll may have sealed her fate. What little mercy the goddess had was thrown out the window. She needs to put her sister in her place! “That is your fault entirely. They are easily manipulated, but that doesn’t mean you can take advantage of them. They are not there to serve your every whims, and in return you use them as your playthings. That is how you lose followers sister” Athena stated calmly. “Give me one good reason why I cannot, I’m waiting” The goddess stated before she pulled the girl over her lap. But she’ll be fair, if she can give a good enough reason, she won’t start her punishment…yet.

The beauty goddess as much as she tries was effortlessly forced down over Athena's lap, doing so made Aphrodite's bottom stick out while she was kept in place even her kicks did nothing but make her butt shake a bit. Upon being asked for a good reason, Aphrodite struggled to think of one and stammered one out for the sake of her backside. "I-i-it isn't your place to tell me what I can and can't do with mortals." She exclaimed doing her best to try and sound defiant while also facing a humiliating punishment.

“It is my place, and I am telling you. My palm is telling you exactly what you can and cannot do, you simply have to listen sister” The goddess rolled her eyes at the girl’s futile attempts to escape her punishment. Shaking her head, the strong palm began winding a story for the goddess to hear. One of blistered bottoms and obedience. Athena was leaving no place untouched.

While she couldn't exactly see her sister's hand raising up into the sky, she did however feel the sting of Athena's palm slamming against her backside. "Ouuch! Owhow! Owww!" Aphrodite cried out over and over as the wisdom goddess hand repeatedly slammed down on her backside. The sounds of impact were loud enough to echo off the walls which were quickly followed by the beauty goddess yelps. "S-stop this, Athena! I-Owhow! I am not a child!" Aphrodite protested as she squirmed underneath's her sister's grip while her poor backside bounced around underneath the assault that Athena was inflicting on it.

“You may not be a child, but I ask you this. If you are not a child, why are you acting like one? And if you are acting like a child, should you not be treated like one in punishment?” The goddess of wisdom countered her sister as she kept the smacks flying. She’s going to learn her lesson one smack at a time, it’s the only way she learns. “Where do you think you’re going?” Athena asked sternly as she kept a heavy hand on her lower back to keep her planted in place.
