Sonic's Little Bundle (for AnimeFan23)
 

"Mark my words, Sonic, this isn't over yet!" snapped Dr Eggman, as he flew off in his egg-carrier, the remains of his latest invention strewn all over the city, "You'll regret your actions."

Sonic didn't bother to give chase. He knew Eggman well. He'd come across him sooner or later.

"Oh well, might as well clean up, then see how Tails is doing," he remarked, as he tore off at his traditional break-neck speed.

Central City seemed to be relatively intact. The shards of metal hadn't gone very far, and no one had been hurt. Sonic gave a small chuckle at Eggman's incompitence as he shot past a small alleyway.....

...then ran back. Peering down the alleyway, he could see a small figure in the shadows. It appeared to be a young human...and she looked rather upset.

"Hey," said the blue hedgehog, walking up to her, "Are you OK?"

The little girl looked up as she saw the blue hedgehog appear and come down the alley, she backed up and hide under a cardboard box near by her and peeked at him through a hole at the top "W...who are you? If your one of Eggman's henchmen just go away and leave me alone!" she shouted from within the box.

Sonic walked over and lifted up the box.

"Eggman robot?" he asked, "Don't worry yourself. I'm not anything like that."

He struck a dramatic pose.

"I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog."

At first the little girl flinched when Sonic lifted the box, however when she realised he wasn't one of Eggman's bots she sighed with relief.

"Well if your not with Dr Eggman then who are you?" she asked

She watched him strike a pose and say he was Sonic the Hedgehog, the surprised little girl then stood and walked around the blue hedgehog examining him she had heard of the ledendary hero Sonic the Hedgehog but she never seen him before.

"Really? she then touched the top of his head "I thought you'd be taller" she said lookinag at him ins disbelief, she was a small child but she was almost a foot taller then he was.

"Hey, you'd be surprised," remarked Sonic, taking her hand and gently stroking it.

"And what's your name?" he asked, "And for that matter, what were you doing here all alone?"

The little girl stared at Sonic when he asked what her name was and why was she here by herself.

"My name is Michelle, Michelle Jasmine Holland but no one calls me that my daddy called me Mishi" she said smiling but then became sad as she stared down at the ground "a...and I am always be myself now," she took a deep breath " both my momma and daddy w....were killed during Dr.Eggman's first attacks, I have been on my own since then" she sounded very sad but she didn't shed a tear she just looked very sad.

Sonic gently lifted her chin up with his hand.

"Hey....I'm sorry to hear that," he said, "You...you seem to be putting quite a brave face on it."

Michelle suddenly got defensive and pushed away Sonic's hand.

"Don't be I'm not I don't miss them at all infact I'm glad their gone they didn't care about me all they did was tell me what to do and when to do it all the time"

She turned her face from Sonic "Michelle pick up your toys, Michelle sit up straight, Michelle do as your told and eat your vegetables or your going up to your room"

Michelle stood there ranting about how she didn't care about her parents when it was clear how she really felt and it was clear how much she missed them.

Sonic could see right through Mishi's little act, but decided not to persue it.

"Michelle," he said, holding out his hand again, "You can't stay here, it's not safe. Why don't you come over to my house?"

Michelle looked surprised when Sonic offered for her to come with him to his house

"Why?" she asked glaring at him "s....so you can take me back to that bad place no way! leave me alone!" she yelled pushing his hand away grabbing her back pack and running out the alley right into the street and into on coming traffic.
