Zane had watched all this with mixed feelings. On one hand he sort of thought that the man was being nice by taking them all in and teaching them to use their magic, on the other hand he did not want to be here and he still had every intention of running away later with the redhead. Still, it was hard to totally dislike the guy when he watched Alakai trying to comfort the little ones. The man looked at them then and asked Zane to take everyone to the living room, "Yes, Master." he said, still trying to act like a perfect angel so that he man would not be suspicous. He looked around at everyone when the man went into the room with Kiki. "It's this way." he said, holding his hands out to Shana and Haruka if they wanted to take them but just glancing at the two older girls. He couldn't make them come with but he was leading the little ones there whether the older two joined them or not.
