A month on from the death of the old head of MI6 still fairly recent; the death of someone who James bond, a 00 status agent with a licenses to kill had mistakenly got close to and was now having to adjust to calling her old lackey, Gareth Mallory...M was taking it’s toile on the man. He had been croaking at just the word of it recently.

To M, Q or any other outsider looking in, this seemed strange given that weeks ago he was all fine and acting as if no death had even occurred. But what they hadn’t known, is that this week was one of the hardest times for James, given it was the anniversary of when he first met the feisty woman that was good enough to call his second mother.

Having been called into the Head office at MI6 headquarters, a scruffy looking man of about 5ft 11. His clothing was covered in mud and his face was hidden behind rough stubble, Too his seat opposite M. Having just boarded of a plane from Cambodia just six hours ago, he was already in the office taking lectures of a somebody that used to be a nobody. And four hours earlier a plane flight listening to M’s sectary say that Bond’s ransom had cost them nearly the whole of the MI6 profits.

“Like I said Dolph Bret was a Dead end.” He sighed, the strong smell of red wine escaping with his breath. His bloodshot eyes met with M’s who didn’t look too happy about his attitude and the fact the when Bond meant ‘dead end’ he means that’s what the outcome James had given him now was.

He just shrugged off all the comments about his life could have been spared and then the job wouldn’t have been messy and we wouldn’t have to pay the enemy 2million riel’s, equivalent of one and a half million pounds for his ransom to be freed.

He had spent the first week of his new mission hung up in chains by the arms and interrogated for answers... but James Bond didn’t give them... Most of the time he found the many attempts of torture slightly amusing and others were extremely painful, he never really discusses the happenings of events with anyone and he wasn’t planning to start now and yet Mallory was looking like he was about to try or worse punish him for almost sending the MI6 into bankruptcy.
