I didn't read the thread and am just responding to the OP.

It depends on if it seems to fit my interests (obviously), and very much on price. Most of these things can be found elsewhere on the internet, by means best not talked about here, so I only really pay for stuff that has a lot of bang for my buck.

I'd love to pay for every spanking movie I watch, for example, but some companies put 40$ pricetags or worse on their productions, which is frankly outside of my university milk-money pay grade. I do, however, pay for a shit-ton of cheap spanking-ebooks and other stuff that runs around 2-5$.

You're a really good artist, so you could always just open to commissions and earn a bit there. It's much less of a gamble, anyhow.
