Clark Kent found it vert difficult to get his two young sons to understand that, to him, they were the same. He didn't care that he had Jon with someone as compared to Conner who just showed up in his life. He loved them both the same... However, he knew the two boys still saw each other as very different. He thought that would be made better when Hal came around because he saw the two boys the same way he did but it didn't, at least it didn't appear to change anything.

On the bright side, both of the boys seemed to get along with Hal, especially Jon. It didn't surprise Clark all that much, the young ten-year-old got along with just about anyone. The best part of that was that he could try to spend more time with Conner, although it seemed to not work like that with how busy they all were.

This morning, two of the four boys of the house had gotten up very early to finish up their cross. Every year they volunteered to make the new one for the church, and Clark made sure to get both boys to work on it however they could. This year Jon seemed to be doing the most work with it.

"Think it'll hold, Pa?" The young boy asked as they finally stood it up. He could hear (thanks to his super hearing) that Conner and Hal were up, which was good. He didn't want to be late today.

"It should be alright, if not I'll make some extra nails so we can fix it up there," Clark explained as he looked the cross over. It was probably their best one yet, "Alright, let's head in and get cleaned up before the service."
