There are three paths through the re-writing assignment, and that scene only happens in one of them (if you get the scribe in the market to do the re-write).

If I remember right, there were really only 2 non-punishment spankings in the first game.... but you might like the scene with the scribe more than the others, it's definitely more comedic.

This project is as much about teaching myself about game design as it is anything else, I just wanted to try something different.

Oh, that's really odd. I don't see anything in the game code that can cause that. Not sure if I'm missing something or if it might be a bug in RPGMaker itself.
