The Crone wasn't expecting that - just as she appeared, ready to attack, a sword slashed right through her chest. It wasn't a fatal blow, but still drew a lot of blood. Weavess had to think quick now; she let her body fall to the ground and didn't move, pretending to be dead. She only hoped that Ciri would fall to the trick, and it would give her enough time to recover and escape.
