As soon as Crowley said he understood Castiel let him go. Though he still kept a firm grip on Crowleys shirt collar. Glaring when the demon said that isn't how Synergy worked,"Yeah, well we aren't like most of them." He reminded his partner, with a voice like one would use for a small child who'd forgotten his right from his left. When Crowley tried apologizing he immediately cut him off. Saying it was not good enough, and it wasn't. Not this time. If they were going to work together Crowley needed to learn that. But how? He racked his brain for an answer. He couldn't kill him, couldn't call off the deal..Perhaps he could..No, no that's ridiculous Crowley wasn't a child. But..He'd acted like one. After a moment of deep thinking he spoke again. His voice calmer, but still stern.

"It is come to my attention that a very old form of punishment is needed for you." He said, and when the demon looked clueless and asked what the bloody hell he meant Cas gave him a warning look before answering,"Proverbs 13:24.."
