Your ° is an unusual type of typographical glyph. Our older gallery software has long documented and well published problems with ascii and unusual characters. It can't process that character so it throws up an error message.

I know you don't like not being able to make requests. We've heard you on this subject. The toast doesn't need a third layer of butter spread on thickly.
It's no irony that because you assumed we had the problem you posted under 'site feedback' to repeat your dislike.
If you'd actually considered the problem was at your end or was something else and gone to the
site problems or the
questions and answers sections of the forums you'd have seen at least three threads near the top of each of this exact problem and the responses. With no disrespect intended this could be evidence of cognitive bias at work.
Just type rather than copy/paste in messages and use standard characters and it'll post just fine.
