May's mother, who had seen her daughter flying down the street through her window, ran to the door to let her inside. May practically fell through the threshold, running inside while her mother slammed the door, leaving the Poochyena snarling and howling outside, scratching at the door. When she was positive the door was locked and the angry Pokemon couldn't get in, she turned to her daughter with a panicked look of concern on her face.
"May, darling, are you alright!?" she gasped, rushing to her daughter's aid. She took note of her cuts and bruises and ran to the bathroom cabinet to retrieve some bandages and wound disinfectant. She returned in less than a minute, immediately spraying her up and down with the disinfectant. She knew it was probably going to sting fiercely, but if any one of May's many open cuts became infected it could be a problem.
