It has been almost a year since the final battle with the D Reaper and the Tamers had to say goodbye to their Digital Partners. During this time, life slowly began to return to normal and members of the affected towns soon forgot all about the Digimon. The Tamers never forgot though. Some say it was a curse, others say it was a blessing but a portal opened to the Digital world and allowed all of the Tamer’s partners to return.

Not being informed of this revelation, Rika’s mother Rumiko and her grandmother were not informed of this revelation. But they have noticed the girl acting strange recently, stranger then normal as she would claim to be sick although she would have no fever or be up in the kitchen late at night to shift through the left overs. Rumiko sighed as she decided to confront her daughter about this, for whatever reason feeling very nervous about it. But this is something she had to do. Without warning her daughter, she began to turn the doorknob to enter the girl’s room.
