Maria could only nod her head and give a weak smile and wave hearing the dean removing himself from the conversation. While true the rest of it was now between Maria and Alex's parents Maria somewhat wished he stayed behind so it would somewhat ease her nerves in all this.
Watching Mr. Frost pat the chair next to him Maria smoothed her skirt and took the seat next to him. She felt a tinge of pride inside hearing the praise Mr. Frost gave her. She then listened to the advice that he gave her which many was to trust her instincts. "Yes, I understand sir." Maria said.
