(Alright, also your reply is fine, I tend to have long starts anyways and this one really went long lol)

Haruka smiles brightly, happy that her big brother was happy to see her. She hugs him back, and almost slips up and says it in her native language but stops herself before saying anything and jus speaks in english. "um Big brother." She says happily. She eagerly takes his hand as they left the airport.

She swallows outside, not switching back to their native language, and still trying to speak in english as dad had instructed her. "Um yes have all things." She nods, blushing a bit, her poor english embarrassed her a lot more talking to her big brother than a random stranger.

She swallows again "um thank you for keeping Haru big brother. um mom sends love." She figured it might not be best to bring up dad, as while she didn't really understand what had happened she wasn't stupid, she knew it was something between dad and her big brother.
