It was meant to be a surprise! Eliza Cruz had gotten back from her business trip early, leaving her husband to pick up the slack while she was gone. Her husband would be back in a couple of days, but that meant that the woman would have some time to coddle and spoil her favorite, and only, child. And what better way to do than pulling her daughter out of class early?
Imagine, then, her surprise when the teachers inform her that she’s not at school. Not only that, the girl has been skipping class and lowering her grades. In fact, any time she was in class, the teachers had a difficult time with her. A mixture of worry and frustration crawls through the woman’s veins as she sits in her rather large car. The driver is ordered to drive her home. Perhaps this is all on her. Maybe she needs to start working from home. At least, that’s what she tells her husband on the way home.
Once she arrives, perfectly manicured digits toss her phone into her large white bag – matching the white suit that adorns the slim body. Sunglasses are tossed in next, revealing icy blue hues, surrounded by black curls. After a moment, mostly of trying to calm herself down, she steps out. Walking into the home, she searches for her spawn. It takes a few minutes, but she eventually finds her daughter, Sasha, relaxing on the veranda – without a care in the world. The woman had brought her presents, but clearly those would have to wait.
Heels are the only indicating that she’s approaching, pausing once she’s standing beside her daughter. A bright smile. She’ll play dumb for now, give her daughter a chance to confess and explain herself. “Sasha! Darling, aren’t you supposed to be in school?” She asks, glancing at her phone before holding her arms open for her little girl to welcome her back with a hug.
