Laura's bright demeanor diminished as she followed her boss into the other office. She had been warned several times not to be late, to get everything done, but somehow she always ended up getting just a bit distracted when it came to the mundane things. She wasn't bad in an emergency, but the managerial side of medical care grated her, and perhaps sometimes she had ignored it in favor of things she actually liked. That was not permitted though, nor was her frequent lateness. She desperately hoped that the doctor wasn't too angry. She loved working at this hospital, and when she had been a girl she never wanted dolls or other toys, she just wanted play doctor kits.

She liked Dr. Rowena... most of the time. Even though she sometimes felt like a little kid standing next to the tall doctor, especially when she was being scolded. She entered the office and closed the door behind her as she started speaking about as fast as one humanly could, "I'm so sorry Dr. Rowena I was gonna have those papers ready and I was gonna leave the house on time, but I had more patients than usual yesterday and I couldn't find my shoes and the traffic was really bad..." And she always had 100 excuses as to why every thing she did wasn't done or why she was late. And she always had the habit of speaking very fast when she thought she was in trouble so that no one else could get a word in.

Tatiana had been around enough violence in her years of working with the cartels that a quick execution hardly even phased her anymore. Actually, she was a bit relieved to see it. She was building up a little bit of heat from times she'd informed the cops of what the cartel was doing, and she could dissipate some of that heat by blaming some of the things she'd done on Don Diego. Later, she'd go plant a little bit of extra evidence on him and his property for Estela and her boys to find.

Tatiana laughed and shook her head, "Good job, I never trusted that rata. Always making too many phone calls taken where no one else could overhear him... I'll bet he was stealing money... and maybe worse." She needed to frame Don Diego as suspiciously as possible to cover her own tracks. Plant even more doubts about his loyalty in Estela's mind, and then make all those doubts come true. It usually wasn't hard, Estela trusted her more than anyone else, so it would be much easier for her to blame Diego for everything rather than believe Tatiana was doing anything wrong.

Estela was the first cartel boss that Tatiana had ever worked with that she actually liked. The other ones she'd had a bit of hidden glee deep down inside when she saw them angry that one of their major operations had just gone wrong. But somehow Tatiana often didn't feel good about seeing things go poorly for Estela. She stood up and strutted over to Estela and gave her a hug as she said, "You know though, you have to be careful. If your officers see you just stabbing guys in the middle of meetings with no evidence, they might get together and work to overthrow you... I won't let that happen though, I'll make sure and investigate Don Diego myself, and we'll get a mountain of evidence against him! I'm sure I'll find enough to make everyone hate him."
