"Yes, make yourself comfortable," Laura replied in a voice that came of as slightly cold.

As she listened to the woman's explanation, Laura could not help but feel slightly annoyed with her. From the "sales pitch" that Megan had given her before, she had anticipated that she would be able to make back the money that she borrowed along with interest on it. Yet she had to listen to the obviously nervous woman tell her that her repayment will be late.

Just looking at Megan, it was plain to see that she was terrified. That was the point. People needed to know that she was not to be trifled with and that any violation of their "contract" would end badly for them. Laura prefered not to send her goons out to handle anything to avoid getting any authorities involved. Because of this, she devised her own way of dealing with late debtors.

"While I thank you for the compliment, you have to understand that I am running a business here. The reasons for your inability to repay me is none of my concern. I just want what is owed to me. From the sounds of it, you may not be able to repay me back for quite a while." Laura smiled a little, though her voice sounded slightly bored. She dealt with situations like this before, and she always got something that she wanted out of it.

"There was something a little extra that I didn't mention when I loaned you all that money," Laura said, "but first, I want you to stand up and turn around."
