So you know those rejuve/penitatas roleplays? If you don’t, here’s a quick explanation:
So, in an alternate universe, violent and/or reoffending criminals are deaged and given to (a) foster parent(s) to have a second, more stable childhood, with firmer discipline. These childhoods are often in “cycles”. For example: “three cycles of six-to-ten”.
I like the idea of these quite a lot, but the spankings and punishments in them generally seem to be too harsh and unfair, in my opinion: (e.g: Quite severe spankings/punishments, or public humiliation for little to no reason, very little or no comfort at all, and just generally being pricks to these kids). Honestly, I just find it really disturbing, as the whole idea of the prison and justice system is supposed to be rehabilitation, not just making people “pay” for their crimes, and I was, unfortunately, a victim of mistreatment myself as a child. I’m not saying the spankings can’t be embarrassing and painful, just not…y’know…outright abusive?
So yeah, now I’m done ranting (XD) I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a softer version of that?
