Castle Dour was the headquarters of the Imperial Legion in Skyrim. It was a towering fortress with several floors, but only the bottom few were occupied. Upstairs was the private quarters of Legate Rikke, one of the top commanders in the Legion. She'd lived there since the war with the Stormcloaks began, alone except for the Thalmor soldiers who occasionally convened on the top floor, until a few years ago, when she'd unexpectedly taken in an Altmer child, Eir, whose parents had been killed in the war. Those past few years had been spent looking after the girl and training her to join the Legion when she came of age. The two got on well, but the Legate's sternness and her ward's mischievousness sometimes did not mix well.
