The Tomboys Mentor
It was the early morning of dreary, rainy day in the city of Boradino in the world of Atayu. Rupert, the teacher of a young girl of ten years woke in his bed and slowly moved, nursing a light headache by rubbing his temples. Apparently he hadnīt slept very well but there was still work for him to do in the library as he had to select some books needed for his young charge. He washed his face with water that a servant had placed in a small bowl while he had been absent yesterday and then got dressed. Rupert was a tall men in his late thirties with longish black hair and a big moustache that dominated his scared face. He was handsome in a rugged way, alltough his age began to show and dressed very well with the honary uniform of an army veteran and a stylish cape, both in black with silver trimmings. He also had a long cane he used to overcome an old war injury in his left leg that never properly healed. His eyes were green as the forest or a toxin and he had that stare of a man who had seen a lot of violence in his long years of life. Before going to the library Rupert headed to the kitchen for some berry pancakes and black coffee, his usual breakfast when he heard energetic steps in the hallway. Sighting he moved faster, knowing this was his charge, who likely once again fled from the priestress meant to teach her embroidery. As she was an old woman the task of disciplining the girl usually was his. Usually he took the tough love approach scolding her or bending her over his knee, though he was not an unking man by any means, he just was kinda stern as it was expected in the world of high society.
